This song sort of made me almost cry during a text segment, of all things... how it was silent in that segment at the first line, and then you press enter or whatever and the second line appears on the screen and then this damn song drops and it's instrumental and all but then the vocals come in and you have to make a choice and

Completed Nier Automata on release. Can`t still listen to this normally, because it still tears my heart apart.
Those text segments were brutal. The one for "our" Devola and Popola broke me. I wish I could play it again for the first time...
Scrapping the Devola and Popola Androids would've been much more preferrable and much more humane than what they've been subjected to for all these thousand years.

9s had the saddest story in automata
all of them are so sad not gonna lie, like how 2B have to endure killing 9S again and again....devola and popola enduring thousands of years and without a mean to fully repent their sins, a2 having to sucess 2b's memory and finally sacrificing herself for 9s in both endings, its just all so sad. Specially when the beautiful yet sorrowful music is here to boast the sadness even more
