I’m curious about something. Does it work the same if you wind the handle in reverse? I’ve seen people make like a scarf with sleeves and the part that wraps over your shoulders is only one layer and it’s not doubled and then it connects the sides for the sleeve parts. I’ve seen other similar projects where I know they didn’t double it, or at least not the whole thing. So how is this accomplished? I thought maybe if you are either going one direction and then reversing at a certain point over and over again or else skipping a few of the pegs so there are straight pieces you can cut. Idk. I would like to know though because I’m debating on buying this.

I've only turned one way I've never seen anyone turn in the opposite direction. I've made hats,headbands/earwarmers, baby cocouns and tube scarfs.
