What ever happened to that splash Ameraucana you got from Meyer? I thought that bird was so cool looking I ordered some. I have a blue roo and splash hen from them. 2 weeks old now.
He was cool! He went to another farm with some more room and a whole flock of Ameraucana hens for him. The family hatches out speciality breeds for the local community. We tried to get a hen again, this time with a lavender Ameraucana and she just started laying the most beautiful deep blue eggs (after this last video was filmed). That is exciting, I’m sure you will love them. They grow up way too fast!
@@ThePyrfectFamily Awesome man, we also got blue and splash Marans both males and females. Will be working on a BBS Olive Egger line up in NH lol. So far I'm impressed with Meyer. All 17 birds are still lively and healthy after 2 weeks.
That sounds awesome, I’m sure those will turn out beautiful! Splash Marans are on our short list of birds to get in the future. I personally really like the Marans (my favorite breeds so far). Glad to hear we aren’t the only one to have a great experience with Meyer birds! They definitely care about the quality.
