Fun fact:
If you see Ruki's background in Shine A Light MV (11:32) there are huge white rocks right? FYI, Ruki's surname, Shiroiwa means 'white rocks'. Shiro(白)=white, iwa(岩)=rocks. I guess the production did his background like that on purpose 😉. While his name, Ruki(瑠姫) always mistaken as stage name bc it's so rare (in fact almost all JO1 members have rare names for a Japanese). Ruki's name literally means 'Lapislazuli Princess'. But he's JO1's ouji-sama (Prince 👑)

I hope you guys can react to that too. Also, JO1 will be together as a group as long as they want unlike their Produce 101 seniors. JO1's strength is how they mix the best of both J-Pop & K-Pop worlds. They're under Lapone Ent. which is a joint company between Yoshimoto (Japan) & CJ ENM (Korea).

Welcome to the JAMily. Their husky singing voices are apparently a result of their K-Pop training since J-Pop male idols have a completely different vocal style (it's much clearer, similar to groups from SM).
The fun part about Produce 101 Japan is that all of the trainees do not come from any entertainment agency and most of them have regular jobs before auditioning. Takumi (the red-haired guy) used to be a factory worker assembling ATVs. Keigo used to work as a hair salon assistant (even though he's from a rich family). Seeing their growth from the show and their improvement in vocal and dance with every comeback is so satisfying for us JAMs.
The possibilities of JO1 are endless😊🇯🇵

thank you for ur reaction guys. oh eh oh is co produced by pentagon hui. and mostly their choreography are made by choi youngjun. JO1 is under Lapone ent. Join company made by Yoshimoto kogyo (Japan) CJ ent ( Korea). fyi Kawashiri Ren (silver hair/grey hair) their performance leader was a backup dancer for wannaone.pentagon.SMAP and Yamashita Tomohisa. some of their members has no dancing and singing experience. one of them is kawanishi takumi ( the pink hair). i hope u guys joining our fandom JAM ( JO1 And Me ) thank u 🥰.

In Japan people’s first name is their surname so yeah he’s name is Ren, fun fact most of these members didn’t have any training in singing ir dancing prior to joining JO1 😭 Only ones who had experience was Ren and Ruki Ren was a backup dancer for Wannaone, etc and Ruki was a in Idol group. I really enjoyed you guys reaction I hope you watch Oh Eh Oh performance video along with infinity ♾ Go performance video is also good 💜 Thanks for watching them
Oh, you forgot Ruki. He has experience as an underground idol. So only 2 members had prior stage experience while others not or were students of dancing school.

In Oh eh oh, the cloaked guy was the guy on the far right’s twin brother (25:47) and the guy in the middle was their friend. When they stupidly went up on that... whatever you call it, the friend scared him,he fell, got injured and can’t dance again, so he became a gang leader that attacks anyone dancing... I guess. At the end, he realized his feelings about them and threw down the cane and ran away from the fight. My theory
