I was born in Sarajevo.Tho I've been there only once,I got to know the kind of mentality those people are with.I like it how we're way different from the typical English,USA and the world in general. The interactions, hanging out and chitty chats are so casual,so Bosnishen.I wish everyone meets one decent Bosnian in their life time and gets to know what I am talking about ! :)
I have been discovering brilliant music through KEXP for some years now. It's so soulconnecting to see one of the finest underground culture icon-bands from my region here. Hands up!
This radio show is a desert on my menu served by Kultur Shock. First meal was served 2 weeks ago and it was: for breakfast - Akšam with Zumbul, for lunch Tamni vilajet with Reffugee Song. Today I had desert. And for dinner .... I already saw, there is enough stuff for next 2 years. Respect to the band and to all people who loves them. LONG LIVE ROCK'N'ROLL, HUMANITY AND BROTHERHOOD BEETWEEN PEOPLE. Hail from Croatia - Istria*
Greetings from Istanbul. Hello to all beautiful people of Balkans. I saw their show in Istanbul. It was amazing. Hope to see them in Sarajevo. Peace for everyone :)
pišem ovo nakon vašeg giga u Virovitici, ,ovo prazno mjesto između zareza stoji zato jer ne postoje riječi kojima bih opisao zvuk i osjećaj nastaviti!!!!!! pozdrav iz Virovitce
I'm from Brazil and I don't understand the lyrics of most your songs, but you really sing directly to my soul. "If one of us suffer - nobody is free". Yes. Exactly. That's the fundamental stone of Anarchism, which seems most anarchists gave up. Anarchism cannot be about individuals, just because this one single principle. Anarchism is a collectivist building.
One of their small club gigs in Belgrade is still the most fun I ever had on a concert. I had to buy a t-shirt cause I was soaked in sweat and it was mid-February. I'm pleasantly surprised to see them on KEXP, a pleasant reminder of a sound I love but haven't heard in years. But their songs in serbo-croatio-bosnio-macedo-montenegrin or however you wanna call it if you're into political correctness are way better and deeper than their songs in English and Gino knows just how to deliver them vocally.
Pleasant too see Kultur Shock on KEXP. Keep on going. Samo nastavite ekipa svaka cast. EX YU in our heart (located in the middle compartment of the mediastinum in the world) ^_^
I literally thought this show was filmed during the Ukraine war that is going on currently. It's sad how poignant everything they say is today. "if even one person suffers no one is free" wow I wish politicians listened to musicians.
It was not a civil war on the territory of former Yugoslavia, but Serbian aggression and conquering neighboring countries (Croatia and Bosnia and Hercegovina). The Serbs have been recognized by the international community by acquiring 49% of Bosnia and Herzegovina
criminally underrated band and music. will never forget seeing them live
this is the sound of balkan spring
smash nationalism
we will have to try again. 2014-15 wasnt bad tho. nut next time, nase ce sjene... lutati po dvoru, plašiti gospodu

We are different, we are Eastern (oposite of western) pretty simple, quite different, anti capital
a bosnian soul is a simple yet complicated soul
Sa vama je ljepše živjeti .Hvala vam zbog toga i živi bili !!!!
Kad ste bili u Zrenjaninu bili ste veoma ljubazni prema meni,,,,,Respect
I love it how they all sing in Bosnian, I can imagine Gino explaining how to pronounce certain words like "Džehenem" to the band lol!
+arronaxtrance Dzehenem is not Bosnian.
+alabama1974 It's not of bosnian origin, but is used in the bosnian language. As are so many other words of turkish/arabic origin.
Orm Tostesson is right, it's of middle-eastern origin, but so are many words in other European languages.
+proud Bosnian used, but not Bosnian word.
+proud Bosnian who speaks about spelling? And so what if there are many arabic words used in bosnian, there are also bosnian word for Dzehenem.

Someone will always suffer.
Dejan Bogdanovic and you are part of the problem

They are amazing !
Pozz za Kultur Shock ekipu iz Srbije :)
Very emotional. Not sure, what kind of mood I need to listen to this.
+Alvee K. If they had their drummer in there you would know.
+Goat Bug they have a drummer, he's just not playing on this set... dunno why :\
I know, I was just telling him that he would understand what to feel if he heard how Chris plays.
+Alvee K. The best mood for listening to music like this is DRUNK. Trust me I'm from the Balkans. And the more people are drunk the merrier. :D
You need to be in SEVDAH mood...
Love you Guys since the first time I heard you in the Nordstern in Basel around 20 Years ago...
Odlicna svirka :)
Good moods!
"Suffering is good because it makes people move forward. If you live in a state of total security you have nothing to look forward to"
They still got it!

Haha, the beard guys wearing a St. Pauli shirt really suits the weirdness, great stuff!
+DerEchteBold and the vans...
+Layne Benofsky
Vans? That's the shoes, right?!
Hmm... no idea, I don't care about brands and that stuff, what's odd about it?
They simply complete the look Gino had going on that day. :)
Najbolji!
They're awesome!
"Don't get any serious ideas, we're still not opening the windows!" Got me laughing. And the sex on the stage part too, with Gino's reaction.
i fucking love kultur shock
Thx ❤️💛💚
Sarajevo jedno jedino♥️
Its kind of like Folk Metal from the Balkans
no need comment,amazing ,fuckin hell
It's weird hearing my language on KEXP 😀
Jeez is this great? Where that Denio gal? Holy mountains of sweaty love, this stuff rules. The original "metal" music.
Does anyone know what bass she is using? It looks pretty interesting.
Hey Kevin Suggs, what happened at 5:26?

St Pauli T-shirt :D lol
Al´ta St Pauli majica. Dje je nadje?

Its like I agree with them but don't care them at the same time. Very talented tho.
AFA 161
I was born in all Bosnia city's
I really had to sit trough a guy asking about passing gas in a van? OK... great music and attitude though... as always for sure...
(Clears throat)...... first
Gino is not often wrong, but he was very wrong here:
I know, we are not cute anymore
I know,
we will never hear this song
On the radio😁
Tito si bolje nemoze
Koji sex majko moja mila ....

This is not the place for that kind of discussion, enyoj the music
Djino ba, pametniji si kad pjevas nego kad lupas gluposti o politici o kojoj pojma nemas. Pjevaj Djino, i ne seri!
Terrible.
Nide veze s nicim
