I was thinking a khwarezmian campaign would show up. this is the best of the 3 so far
also seeing the family tree obliterated by assassinations was actually chilling
Funny thing is it's supposed to be other way around. the Khwarezmian Hashashin Order was sending assassins to kill the Mongol Khans. Yes the same assassins from Assassins creed games.
If this was a Roman campaign I would say Livia did it. It is insane to see how many were killed without kids.

Ramsey calls people idiot sandwiches, Legend loves to use horse sandwiches. The similarities are many.

This series is great. I'd actually stopped watching your vids, not because I didn't like them or anything, but how many times can you watch someone who's loads better than you kick ass at a game? This is new, fresh and interesting, love it.

Your first two games were resolved effectively by relieving a siege and disbanding some units. This one, the family tree is reduced to one elderly guy and all the women in the tree are widows of the murdered Khan's family. Yes you saved the family from being assassinated to death, but haven't done anything about rebuilding the family tree. Yes , you've done something about rebuilding the finances and number of settlements, but this campaign is a long way from being saved. It's still more lost than your first two games started off at.
I would vote for legend to continue this for one more episode.

I vote to restart from the original save, and keep the heir alive on a boat or something. then do what legend at one pint said he'd do, go fight the fatihmids, scorche those northern territories, disband that other army, or rejoin it with his other forces while sacking towns along the way. and establish a safer empire in fatihmid territory away from the turks and mongols.
Did his situation improve that much? only old faction leader left. Army in the north is now in cuman territory with apparently the goal the fight a faction that's 3 times stronger, with half of his forces. His other forces are in the east, right where all the spawning horde armies go through. and the region with his capital completely undefended, with enemy fatihmid armies that can pup up anytime.

I would love to see another episode of this same one, considering it only got one and a half hours while the much easier spanish campaign got 2 hours. Loving the series!!!

Here is a story I have made up for this video: the empire was holding on to its last cliff. The mongols had pushed them out. So they asked for help. A young, smart and charming gentleman called legend had came from Germany to stop the mongol horde. He kicked the Fatimids and stopped the mongols. The empire was saved.

Agent spam is the worst bit of TW. I sometimes have armies of 9 peasants or equivalent to go around deleting them if things get that bad.

The best one so far. I would love to see a proper lets play with a custom start like this with a small goal in mind. Maybe 3-4 episodes long. Also, some house-rules to make you suffer.

I've never been able to come anywhere close to victory as the Khwarezmians. The mongols basically nuke you from turn 1 lol
Hey legend when you're organising your army at the start of a battle you can select the units in the order you want (top left selected first, bottom right selected last etc), then group and ungroup and it will sort the units

Yeah Legend, I approve of this tremendously. Best campaign series yet. Brilliant idea. And this one was the funnest of them so far. It is just a shame I never really saved any older campaigns that I might be able to quickly run down with interesting but bad decisions to give to you :).
But... What would you consider a save or two from Divide and Conquer?
I'm open to doing DoC but I won't prioritize it over vanilla just due to the slow pace of the campaign.

Do the eastern factions not get man of the hour prompts? I've played as the Turks but I can't remember. I also have never played stainless steel mod. I'm not very tech savvy so installing it is confusing as shit.

Legend idk if you know this but if your army is weaker than the garrison the spy will almost always open the gates

khwarezmian empire was turkic... it is kind of complicated. Turkish culture, turkish language includes only Turkey. But turkic people, turkic culture... it includes lots of countries. For example i am from Azerbaijan and i am also a turk but not a turk from Turkey, a turk from Caucasus. So Tamerlane (or Amir Timur) was a turk but not ancestor of modern people of Turkey. He is the ancestor of modern Uzbeks. Attila was hun, huns r ancestor of turks (not only turks of Turkey), so Attila kind of turkic (not turkish). and ect.
Yea it's a language problem, but it's correct what you're saying. I often see a lot of Turks from Turkey claiming that Atilla was a Turkish Turk, but he wasn't, as you said
English is Germanic language. But English and German are totally different languages. Although as Turk from Caucasus i understand Turks from Moldavia without any problem. But you understand the point.
