I bought this bird condo at an auction 2 years ago and have it had no instructions on how to put it together. Thank you so much for the video. I would have never gotten it put together if I had not seen this
Nest checks seem like they would be hard on this house. For the bottom floor I assume you just lift the top floor off to do the nest check. . . . but how do you do nest checks on the top floor (since the roof is screwed on)?
The AH-12 Purple Martin House and gourd combination photo at the end of the video, shows holes in the pole underneath the house rods inserted into those holes to accommodate the gourds. My question is: Is that the same Heath MP - 15-4 15' Telescoping Purple Martin House Pole as in the assembly video (when the demonstrator is putting the house on the pole)? In the video, it appears that the holes are toward the top of the pole and covered by the house when the top story is placed on the pole. Are another set of holes for the gourd rods exposed when the pole is telescoped upward. Thank you for any information.
Is anyone out there actually thinking about purchasing/assembling/incorporating a Heath Purple Martin House??? LOL,,,,,Do yourself a favor and just toss the entire thing into the Garbage Bin, because it's not worth even assembling! Horrible, terrible door design, and that makes it also difficult to access during nest check(s), and not even comparable to the Trio Line of Purple Martin Housing(Nature House Castle, Mk-12, Trio Wade/Trio Grandpa etc.).........do yourself a favor people and do NOT attempt to use this particular model! Been there done that! If you don't believe me, then, go ahead and try it for yourself, and then you'll see what unfolds! Cheers everyone!
😅 on my 2nd one, we have had the first for over 10yrs and just used this to help with the new one, our birdies Luv it 🤷🏻♂️, yes, complete pain in the ass! to build, u right there! 😂

How do you clean this out at the end of the season ? Disassemble it somehow ?
