      Hi Sara Benavides,
      This model does not have buttons, but it does have a small lever with which we can unlock the camera below the shutter button.
      Turn the shutter button lock lever to "A".
      Turn the shutter button lock lever to "L" to prevent accidental shutter release or battery drain whenever you are not using the camera.

    So if I’m looking to shoot at 1.8, do I aline the light meter needle with the middle marker at f/5.6, or do I look to get it to point where f/1.8 would be near the bottom of the meter.
    I assume the answer is to set it to the middle marker like a dslr but I wanted to ask before a burn through a roll of film

    • @photographyandmore

      Hi Patrick J Chiverton Media,
      If you want to use a f1.8, you must select in the lens 1.8 and turn the shutter speed dial until the light meter needle point 1.8.

    Can this take a night sky or milky way photography?

    • @photographyandmore
      @photographyandmore  4 роки тому +1

      Hi ChrisMcKing,
      I suppose that it is possible since this type of photography is made by calculating the exposure and using bulb for long exposures and a shutter release cable.
      Perhaps there could be some vibration in the photo, since being the fully mechanical camera does not have the mirror lock function that prevents vibrations in long exposure, and that some more current cameras have this function.
