- This video is a guide on finding all the Chaos Emeralds and getting Super Sonic in the Sonic DLC for Minecraft. Stage portions spawn randomly so you may need to replay several times until the special stages load in the locations shown in the video.

So I got a ton of requests for this video, something to note though is parts of the level spawn randomly so you may need to go to these areas several times before you see the special stage ring spawn. (The special stage rings can spawn in any act.)
The biggest time sink is the side purple switch one in chemical plant.
Just look for when there's spikes and a purple caterpiller robot, otherwise you can keep running past it.

@@michaell.5182 Hmm perhaps try to use a controller to enter it or vice versa? controller would be left trigger. Otherwise mabye try saving/exiting. Last choice would be to make a new world. :x

I couldn't imagine them not, dropping special stages are indeed thing in a couple of Sonic games and I was amazed in something I STILL thought could've been obvious

It's really great to see that now we finally have a Official Sonic DLC in Minecraft. Now, I'm kinda wondered what will be the next Official DLC of Minecraft....
I would say FNaF, but my hype has died down for me just a bit. I will always have this spark of enjoyment of the series though!

@@bluekel615 lower your render distance to 6 chunks and turn off the fancy graphics, smooth lighting, render clouds, fancy bubbles and beautiful skies. This should reduce lag and you’ll only get the rare minor freeze but it’s totally playable :D!

Played this recently on PC and it is without doubt the most impressive DLC I have played in a long time. The amount of work that must have gone into building it I can't imagine. Meanwhile there's me and l suck in comparison when I build basic rectangular structures 😅

I love it how the pieces of the Zone are always arranged in random orders. My emerald hunt is about over with only purple remaining. Been playing the dlc for several hours due to the rates the Special Stage Rings show up. The Purple one hasnt appeared yet in the purple switch room with the caterkiller, but I will keep playing it for the next few days till it shows up. Thats all I need is ONE EMERALD! ONE! Ive played soo many Acts of Chemical Plant, its crazy! Ive actually broken my previous high scores due to ton of replays. Lol

At this point, this *is* normal Minecraft. The most mainstreamed version with cross compatibility on all platforms, and the base version of the game on consoles.

Fantastic video and guide. It's a shame that this DLC is basically unplayable on Nintendo Switch version of the game. Also for some reason all I get are ring boxes where special stage portals should be...
Yeah even if you get the right parts of the stage, it's then random if the special stage ring will appear... the RNG is real.

Quick note: if you somehow fail the special stage, you ain’t getting a second chance, so you’ll have to start a new world, this is just as unforgiving as the classics

Okay, so these guys just introduced an aerial Spin Dash that basically combines the Drop Dash with the Homing Attack and we ain't saying anything? That's like Smash Sonic's move but awesome!

@@hannahredelfs8001 Any act has a chance of finding the emerald. Each act is randomized, so you just need to get lucky and have a ring spawn in the location.

This has to be one of the first minecraft dlcs that’s actually well made and very faithful to the licensing
They definitely put a lot of effort into making this DLC. It feels like an actual Sonic game and not just a world.

Are the level layots completely randomized? It certainly feels that way to me. Can't find that damn white Emerald spot anywhere, no matter how many times i re-launch the Sky Sanctuary Zone Act 1.

So how do the chaos emeralds spawning work? Are their specific acts or are they random?
Doesn't depend on the act. They just randomly spawn in that chunk of the level instead of badniks, monitors, or sometimes plain nothing.

Considering the most replayed is the cyan emerald find section, I can almost guarantee most of us came for the cyan emerald
When you notice for most of the video he was carrying grass.
Dandelions* it's a glitch that happens in sky sanctuary where the ground doesnt spawn properly causing the dandelions to break. I found a bunch if them and turned them into yellow dye.
