if you guys didn't know, cross dressing is very common in Chinese opera, men would play both male and female roles and vice versa. that's why its normal to see guys sing in such a high pitch in Chinese opera.

It's not something your average person can do. Edit 1: Listening to this cover again, I just realised how smooth 2:01 - 2:02 sounds, that is not something your average person can pull off. It may sound easy, but I dont think just any untrained person can pull it off as smooth as he did it.

It’s harder if you don’t already have a natural high voice as a male cause Chinese opera needs a lot of training for the male vocals.
