- I've been meaning to take my Street Triple RS on a long road trip.. So In this video, I decided to ride all the way up to LA with a few stops here and there. Overall, the Striple is a FANTASTIC tourer and the only thing it needs are some saddle bags for even longer trips. This trip was A LOT of fun! Find out what happens.. 👍👎

Rode my 18 Striple RS along the Forgotten Coast Highway ( Gulf Coast Panhandle of FL) 320 mile round trip and it was totally comfortable.
Taking a trip in a month to see a friend over a weekend. 350 miles + 300 miles of weekend riding and then the return trip home. 1000 miles total. Can't wait! Thanks for the post always enjoy your content! Ride safe!

Great video with very good sound. Many complain about high frequent vibration from bars and pegs from this triple which make long trips fatiguing. Did you feel that too?

yea bro... It's LA so traffic is gonna suck but for the most part, you forget that it's there and just carry on with the scenery and the great weather. (stock seat)

Nah bro.. I’m honest.. over 80 mph it’s not good but on the highway I keep it under.. but I don’t care what you ride.. over 80 is gonna be rough
Yeah I got the same bike, it’s fine up to 80, over that, you need to crouch a little and over 120 you need to hang on.
Exactly.. my neck was giving out on me at the track.. over 100 mph it’s brutal on a naked.

Lol.. there are like 500.. but tbh.. that Starbucks we went to is in the location I wanted to be in and that I’m also addicted to nitro cold brew 😂😂
@@PetroHead In the midwest we have Caribou and Dunn Bros. Charbucks is overrated, their corporate principles are gross, and the products taste terrible anyway. hahaha
@@PetroHead surprised to see you guys park both bikes in the handicap zone, the extra width is also painted blue and says no parking so they can get a wheelchair and assistance more easily around the car (or ramp van) and if helpful use the yellow ramp that you blocked. Zero need to park like this when ya got two good legs brother! Someday it could be one of us in that chair. -with respect

What's the fuel range on rs
It'll do about 45-50 mpg on the highway but for someone like me with my on/off hard acceleration, its a lot lower. I average about 36 city/highway and that is mostly spirited riding. I don't really try to conserve fuel and ride mostly for enjoyment.
