thanks for the tutorial! im having a weird problem (dunno if any of u encountered it). you see i have zero lag when max avatars are set to 80, but it lags when i reduce avatars to 20 (yeah i know, weird). maybe something on my settings??

Basically if I’m gettin what your saying. You can choose who gets an avatar by default. So if you want anyone who follows to get one or if you only want subscribers to have one

I didn’t go over that. You have to go into your SA directory and manually delete content in the folders
Hello, and thank you so very much for your in depth and easy to follow guide for Stream Avatars.
I was wondering, though. I noticed that your user interface is not at 1920 x 1080 but a smaller sized window, and I was wondering how you did this as I have tried fiddling around with the settings. But if I resize the user interface window manually it also changes the size of the Stream Avatars showing in my stream, which is what I do not want as I would prefer the user interface window to be smaller but the application itself in OBS to be 1920 x 1080.

I have 2 questions :
1- in avatar and gears when you pick a character, and you go to "allowed gears" you need to click in every single gear so it will be available for this character, if I don't do that, that particular character won't have any gear to purchase, is this correct? If it is, how can I do it massively , I have like 400 characters and it will take me a whole week of clicking. Lol
The 2nd one is, I saw a streamer a while ago that gave the stream coins when there is a follower or a subscriber, so people can buy stuff, how can I edit this command? For example when someone follows/subscribe I wanna give everybody a certain amount of coins.

Gears that come with the character packs usually come available to already use. The unchecked gears you see for those sprites are
Typically the gears that are for other sprite packs if that makes sense

Howdies & thanks for this well made guide with clear speech. Assist required: My stream avatars twitch panel is stuck on "waiting for your avatar" & "installing avatars" I've refreshed page couple times with no change & have downloaded & imported some via SA client. 2nd question: How to capture game content when game capture mode already used for Stream Avatars ?
Do you need to create 2nd Game Capture source to same scene & then SA is shown when stream via "main" game capture source ? Tried to explain as clearly as possible & confused atm. Gave this thumb up & share via twitter when time is ready. Wish you good path ahead o/
The SA widget will only load when the application is connected and started so you’ll see the avatars running around.
And yep you will need to just do a second game capture for any game that you will be playing in OBS

The streamer won’t see it on their game. It’s an overlay they add to there stream

Yeah you just have to use the extension under your twitch channel once it’s installed. Or if you do the !avatars command it’ll tell you the avatars you have

On twitch the user can tap on the screen and a “SA” logo will pop up at the bottom of the video. They can configure their avatar through there

so i seen you chose youtube as your platform but then got the twitch stream extension so does that work to help implement the program cuz subs dont appear on youtube when they talk in chat nothing spawns
Twitch has the most access to features so far. Some of the other platforms may not have the same animations that pop up
Is there an easy way to disable packs instead of individual avatars?
Uh the easiest way I’ve done it is deleting the file but I’m sure there is a way to do it inside the application

everything was helpful but I can't seem to put 2 game captures so i'd have to choose either my game or the SA. Is it meant to be that way?
Hmmm 🤔 should be able to do 2 instances of game capture, if not you can do a window capture and change the background inside of the stream avatars app to green. And then apply a filter to that window source called chroma key.
I downloaded too many avatar packs, where do I go to manage that? It won’t let me start

You can adjust the priority mode so if your having issues you can set it to medium or low

So my obs studio doesn't have the game capture source (I'm on a Mac idk if that has something to do with it) is there another source I could use?
Somebody else on the Mac had the same issue. So when you start Stream Avatars application you will have to change the background of it to green and then in OBS you will use the chroma key feature

Hey I tried to download the Pokémon one above smash bros and when I tried to connect it it wouldn’t let me cuz it gave me a message error about having not enough storage something like that. Any suggestions
I w had this error when I downloaded too many avatars, you exceeded the memory limit. You can manually delete them if you know how to manually go into your files or you can reset everything from the stream avatars app
Hey man, great video I used this a while back to set it up. But now having problems as it’s just a constant black screen and nothing is showing up. Have you got any idea how to fix this? I’ve tried deleting the source, running obs administrator, completely restarting stream avatars and deleted the cashe in obs but still not working again 😩

Is there a way to make it so you have to pay for different skins of avatar. Example: if I make a shiny Pokémon can I make it so it cost 500 gold for that certain cosmetic

Do you find this distracts your viewers from what you actually stream? Did you see an increase in viewer retention/length when using this? It is an interesting concept...
No distraction in my case. You can scale the avatars to any size you want or if you wanted to just add them too a brb or starting soon screen. People love to start battle royals, accumulate gold and spend that gold on cosmetics
