Discovered I forgot to post this video. Long-haired hippy stage of the summer. My posting schedule will be out of wack for a while. You may see them posted very early or very late in the day. I'm farther south than you, Beau, but the reason for so many leaves down already has to do with the heat stress the trees have endured from such lengthy spells of exceptionally hot and dry weather. You'll notice if it cools dramatically and we get adequate rainfall, the leaf drop with greatly diminish until we get closer to late September. My yard and drive are covered with leaves that have already turned colors.
Yes sir, I'm in Texas. Paid someone back in April to pick up all the leaves up from my house before I moved in . And thanks to all the heat and drought, my yard looks like that again.
I am sitting here in south central PA at 7:20 pm n it's cold to me. We didn't have a really super hot summer this year for sure. Great to see you got a bunch of really cool finds!
I have thought about this before because there have been people that have stopped to watch what you are doing along the waterways. Your hair was looking a little wild at the beginning of the video and I imagined what I would think if I were an elderly person walking along a waterway trail and noticed some random dude in the water talking to a camera. "Oh, dear Lord they let someone else out of the looney bin again." I joke out of love, admiration and respect. Thank you for your videos.
I always look forward to your river adventures great finds almost all of the time and for me sitting in my kitchen observing your finds with a little history lesson along the way thank you
I'd Love To Go Out and Play But I Have To Stay By My Wife For Now. The Med's Thay Give Her Are Working But It's Hard On Her. But I Do Get To See You Get Some Good's Out Of The Water & Grond It's Like Being With You Diging. 😎👌👍✌.
Yo Beau !! You need to get Miss Lindsey to take You in for a grooming ! For a minute there I thought there was an escaped hippie wading the river ! That Platinum Blonde is taking over your beard too. Hope all is well at the home.
That flower rivet thing you found, looks almost like what was used on my old ithica on the but stock to hold it on. . Use your phone and take a picture of it with Google images and see what it pulls up
Thanks for the adventure, Master Chigg. So is it possible a soldier stood somewhere near that spot and fired a cleaner bullet into the river or ground? Does the amount of damage to the bullet imply it was fired close range?
Chigg I start winterizing August 1st! It's later day weekend. It snowed Oct31 a few years ago and didn't go away till spring. Granted I live in Minnesota.
hey chig curious what you do with the cell phones you find other than the ones that u can find the owners of? Is there anz value in them how do you cash them in?
if there are threads inside the stem on your fancy rivet , it could be a 1/2 to a Chicago screw. Possibly from a hand made belt or saddle, or other leather crafted item where stitching just did not hold up to the use of the product or access for swappn something sizes for an individual or youth and as needed that screw could be easily undone and a more suited attribute employed prolonging the life use for the owner (example like a youth, stirrup-leather, length adjustment buckle or the need to swap the actual stirrup for a larger style foot wear like summer and insulated winter boots ) the ones found belonging to hand wood saws usually have a makers logo and or text stamped on the head . So yea I think that's what ya got in your hand there Bo, @13:10 💯. Leave a comment if ya find out otherwise .
13:20 anyone have any idea what the bullet is? My guess is .30-30 but it could also be something a bit more exotic like .25 Rem / .30 Rem / .32 Rem /.35 Rem. I think they all used long skinny bullets like that.

I never consider it time "wasted" when I'm getting an education from my favorite UA-camr! Thanks, Beau.
Aloha Chigg, Only thing wet here today is the beer! Thanks for the companionship.
“a little tiny squeezer, right there”. Me and the wobbly kitten are chuckling.
Thanks for the video as always❤️❤️👏👏👏👏
Nice finds, Chigg. That leaf-like knob looks more like a drawer pull than anything else.
That's what I thought it might be
Thanks for Sharing Chigg, yeah poplar leaves are already falling, crazy times indeed,Cheers!

I like how your fingers work the crack lol
Thanks Beau, you really cleaned up on those Cleaners!
That lid you found looked like the top of an old Talc tin, maybe a lavender talc that the ladies used.
Nicely done good hunt, i enjoyed the video 🇺🇸

16:16 That's an old Drawer Pull, or Knob.
That flower rivet thing you found, looks almost like what was used on my old ithica on the but stock to hold it on. . Use your phone and take a picture of it with Google images and see what it pulls up
I just can't believe how many bullets you find Chig!!!
That decorative was a drawer handle and that last piece you found went with it.
At first I thought it was a Chicago nut off a piece of horse tack but I thing a drawer pull is right.
that bullet thingy was cool brothr
Wish we had some of that rain down here in south Texas
The decorative brass piece appears to be a lamp socket key(switch).
The 'rivet' thing you found at 13'09" is a small drawer pull.
Thumbs up for Bobbie Wobbs & Fiona.
Actually some pretty sweet finds.
Not bad at all Chigg
👍🏻😊
The leaves are just summer drop, no worries yet 😃
You still got them 75mm projectiles left. I may have a buyer.
Do you ever do anything with all the lead sinkers you find. Like melt it down for something or just dispose of them?
Great ... So @ the end of tha day, ah quarter is jus a big penny?
The Aquachiller
Thanks for the adventure, Master Chigg.
So is it possible a soldier stood somewhere near that spot and fired a cleaner bullet into the river or ground? Does the amount of damage to the bullet imply it was fired close range?
Probably fired across the river and at close range like you say.
Chigg I start winterizing August 1st! It's later day weekend. It snowed Oct31 a few years ago and didn't go away till spring. Granted I live in Minnesota.
Great video, what size coil do you use? thanks
Hey Chigg, do you plan on doing a video on your collection?
good day never seen that kink of bullet the cleaner
One thing I haven't seen this year on the water, is you finding and eating Paw Paws
Fort Sammy grad here too. 🫡
13.12 pull handle for a drawer?
My neighbor came up to my house and had a gallon bag full of BBQ craw dad’s and we set there and eat the whole bag. They were some good stuff
That's a great neighbor!!!
hey chig curious what you do with the cell phones you find other than the ones that u can find the owners of? Is there anz value in them how do you cash them in?
Now thats a scare do...
'flower-pattern' brass thing at 13.18 - drawer pull-knob.
Curious how many padlocks you figure you have found.
13:08 end of Nitting Needle 😮😅
Hey Chigg and hey if somebody is with you
damn, I wrote that before i saw your pinned comment..........
Drawer knob
what's up with your hair? electric eels!
In the wrap up….i believe the first thing you show, might be horse tack.

I bet your brass top had holes in it for some sort of powder.
Howdy
By my estimation you have found 2/3 of all bullets fired in the civil war.
Lol for real. Not like they had their guns on full auto back then.
We want more rabid beaver content....🤠
😂😂😂 I’m glad Chigg is ok from that episode.
13:20 anyone have any idea what the bullet is? My guess is .30-30 but it could also be something a bit more exotic like .25 Rem / .30 Rem / .32 Rem /.35 Rem. I think they all used long skinny bullets like that.
Hard to tell without measuring it but I would guess 30-30 or 32. It could be 35 but looks a tad small.
688th like, love, love your videos, what are certain places i can metal detect.
Anyplace....with permission.
@@aquachigger of course, depending on where i go, either fields, parks, woods(maybe)
What gloves are those
@ 13:08 drawer pull.
