Metal Detecting Under The Old Historic Bridge

- Today we metal detect under this old historic bridge that was built in the early 1800's. This was also the site of an earlier river crossing so relics and coins of all ages can be found here. This was also a very popular swimming hole and resort area in the 1940s and 50's so many coins and rings from that era are found in abundance.
About Aquachigger:
I enjoy metal detecting for historical items like gold coins, relics, silver coins, and other buried treasures. I also metal detect for gold and silver nuggets and even meteorites. I like to make videos that promote my choice of lifestyle that includes outdoor adventure,
metal detecting, yapping, searching for river treasure, SCUBA diving, exploring abandoned places, hiking, caving, caring for animals and pets, and observing the things outdoors that often go unnoticed by most people who are not familiar with outdoor adventures and nature. I keep my UA-cam "Aquachigger" channel family-friendly and hope you subscribe if you like my style.
BTW, you can also catch me here, / chiggsarmy ,but I may get a little edgier there. FB isn't a place for kids anyway...lol.

Another day out and about searching for treasure. I hope I haven't accidentally re-edited the raw footage for this video and posted it again. It is possible, it seems familiar....lol. I hope you enjoy it!

What detector do you use? I know some can't be submerged in water...
Garrett AT Max. Yes, you do need to make sure it's waterproof.
There aren't many of your fans that would ever object to a "re-edit". Just another Aquachigger video to enjoy, And some of us "older folk" would probably never know the difference! 😉. Thanks, Mr Chigg.
Your best find was @ 11:28 :-))
Take Care All
There's never a bad time to be able to relax and watch another adventure with Aquachigger. Thanks, Beau.
Glad you enjoy it!
@@aquachiggerAlways.
A good day for old coins and keys, Chigg! I'm sure the fish appreciate your getting so much lead out of their environment!❤
So THAT'S where them keys went for those locks
I love watching you do the underwater work with the fish sitting there and wait for you to kick something up.
The snorkeling videos are my absolute favorite. Thanks Beau!!!
Imagine if you will, Chig's next adventure will be called "Dredging under the old RR bridge" in quest for MOAR Goodies.
We could do that....again.
That Buffalo nickel is a neat find! Looks good. Thanks for the video! Enjoyed watching.
really awesome hunt, Chigg. Buffalo nickels and the silver coins were some dandy finds!
Another fantastic video love these river hunts so many treasures don't forget to hold your breath we don't need the Chigg choking

Nice haul chigg. I hope the water was cool! Keep up the great work. 👌🏻
Awesome finds there love seeing the videos thanks for sharing
Glad to see all that lead coming out, so bad for the rivers. Thanks a million Chig
Nice river treasure Chigg, good to see Mike made it out too ✨😎👍🏻
Hi Marlon. 😊
I just want to say, I really enjoy your videos. Appreciate you man.
Another great find. Thanks for the time and effort
The Great Sinker Hunt! Thanks guys, really enjoyed it!
Great underwater action love your videos.
Thanks
Seems like having the abilities to snorkel and scuba dive are real assets for finding treasure.
Thanks for the fun adventure, Master Chigg!
Good afternoon Chigg! What's funny is I was actually watching one of your old videos when the notification popped up for a new video! Hope you're having a great day! Thanks for keeping us entertained! Definitely the best channel on UA-cam!!
Thanks. I hope you enjoy this one.
Hi Chigg, new subscriber from NJ here, love your videos and all the knowledge you share! Now, I gotta go buy a hat!!!
Everyone has a wish list and on mine is to go treasure hunting with Chigg!
19:24 that fishie was very happy that you dug up the worm for it.
Wow, those clefts in the rocks are a veritable treasure trove.
Nice little find !!
Bout time we got back to the old style video`s, great stuff
Love your show! Maybe a hard piece of plastic would facilitate removing coins from the bedrock without damaging them?
Dip the tips of each side of the surgical pliers in gorilla glue so that its not metal to metal when pulling out old coins
Hey, those looked like .44 Henry Rimfire cartridges! Probably post CW thought. The Winchester Model 1866 and Smith and Wesson No. 3 revolver were both offered in .44 Henry and they were manufactured into the early 1900s, if I remember. And .44 Henry ammo probably only went out of production in 1940 when we started converting to war production. Oodles of Rimfire cartridges went extinct in 1940!
👍😎🇺🇸
Thanks for the info!
those look too small to be .44 henry. Perhaps they're .32 rimfire?
Awesome day for you young guys outdoors in the water chigger great fines 👍
Love to the forceps!
Boy jack pot. You found a lot of really neat stuff. Love your videos Chigger
More mr chiggles content great stuff beau.!
Awesome finds! Love the old coins! You must have a huge lead collection by now! Have you ever detected the Schuylkill River by chance?
If there was gold in them hills, that river would be great for holding it, perfect bed rock, another great adventure, Chigg.
Don’t mind watching you dig sinkers/fishing weights at all lol great video as always
You had a really good day 👍.. some great finds..and coins 😊
What a Great Day, Congratulations!
NICE!! Thanks😊👍
Aloha Chigg, Thanks for the fun and friendship!
One of these days I am going get up enough courage to metal detect some of the rivers and streams in my area. They have to be treasure troves!
Chiggs those crevasse sure hold a lot of treasures. Always love your water videos. Awesome day on the river.👍😀👏
Nicely done love those river hunts, catch on the next one, 🇺🇸
WHEAT PENNIES, BUFFALO'S & SILVER DIMES THATS A GOOD DAY! THANKS CHIGG, BY THE WAY I DID GET OUT THE OTHER DAY. FIRST TARGET HALF A BARREL OF OLD TOY GUN. I GOT PRETTY EXCITED. THANK YOU SIR!!
Nice Job Chig, Rescue those Bisons!
Well, definitely getting the lead out. If lead prices go up again, like they did like ten or so years ago. Around here, in the midwest, farmers were finding their tractors with the batteries cut out. They cost alot to replace and someone sold it for the lead, sick. Always like seeing buffalo's. I think last found any in my change was 1986. In the late sixties, they were often in change, along with two or three types of dimes and silver. Tried to save them, but there was always candy or a balsa plane kit to buy. Next time.
Honestly surprised as many rivers you explore and snipe , that you haven't found a gold nugget.
No natural gold in most of the areas I search.
15:55 is that a dollar coin?? Hard to tell on camera but it looked like a half dollar or dollar… great adventure chig nice aquatic life you found as well. Thanks for sharing see you on the next one 👍🏼👊🏼
not a bad haul
That Buffalo nickel was in better condition than I expected it would be, nice finds, thanks Chigg I enjoyed it as always.
2nd, 3rd or ??? time to watch. I'm a slow learner,, Beau. Will always appreciate all you share. Haven't found anyone I enjoy more.
Awesome! Thank you!
Many ufo alien stone artifact found in mexico
its amazing ‼️
I found one of those sinkers that look like a bullet at that same location. I didn’t know it was a sinker. I keep learning new things from you. Thanks.
queste tue esplorazioni sono fantastiche e la qualità dei video è notevole , sei un grande professionista
Great river hunt! I've finally got the equipment, and I'll be heading to the river this week. I hope. rolled it to 1K! That was fun too.
Thanks you for the time you put in these videos
Keep it up u do a good job chigg
Gr8 to see u cleaning up the environment .
Love the hemostat trick 🏋🏻♂️
Get what you can now, fall is on its way. Appreciate your efforts each and every video. 😎
Three legged Buffalo $!!!; )
Well I never imagined hemostats could help with artifact finding!
Loved the video!❤
Dang It Chigg ! I damn near drownd-ed.............
You forgot to tell me hold my breath !
3:11 Fishy friend!
That was a handsome 1923 nickel.
Awsome video. That was a bunch of stuff in one spot.
Maybe put some heatshrink tubing over the hemostats and it may help from scratching things like you mentioned. Thank you for another great video been watching you for about 10 years.
Thank you.
Really liked this episode 👍
Very cool
Hey Chigg and whoever else is with you hey to them
I hope to take all the lead fishing weights I find and melt them and make dive weights. I have come across piles of them and I imagine somebody spilled them accidentally off a boat. Great finds you got there.
Nice finds mr chiggles
The thing that looked like a nut but had something sticking up out of top is actually a depth stop. Put it on a drill bit if you have to make several identical holes.l
Good afternoon from Southeast South Dakota Chigg
Nice....
Reminds of that game Operation when you use the forceps for removing coins.
Fantastic hunt, Beau!! I might apply snorkel and mask to my lake hunt in deeper water. Not sure how well I could do at my age. But, I'm going to try!!
It's easy and very good for your back.
See y’all on the next one GOD BLESS
You didn't leave your hemostats in the truck! 😁
I dont usually comment on videos but I just have to tell you I really enjoyed this one. Maybe cause you werent talking so much!🤣
Good'un!
Nice forceps use! I wonder if all of those keys go to the locks you were finding in the last couple of videos.
Hey Chigg, there is rubber paint you can dip the hemo's in to not hurt coins
Jeff williams referenced you in his last video Chigg. Hope you guys get together again. Keep it up.
You should have your own TVShow!
Beau has in River Hunters, two series.
Wow, must be a place designated to throw coins you don't want - lol. At one point where you were fanning, I thought I saw a ring.
You may have. It was a swimming area and I have found a ton of rings there over the years.
Like the penny pinchers! 😂
lol
Gramps said that when ya start finding civil war bullets, its an omen of things to come 👀
👊🤩👍
At 15:07 you could have a date nail from an old railroad tie.
I know those crappy modern Lincoln cents as ‘zincolns’.
Mastodon tooth overlooked behind last coin found on this tape.
Hey Chigg, take a piece of electrical tape and wrap it around the end of your forceps, it will help prevent scratch's
Please explain how metal detecting in state rivers and finding artifacts doesn’t get you arrested. Friends of mine got arrested in Florida, St. John’s river. 3 day trial. He got 40 hrs community service. Enjoy your videos. Have a land metal detector and was almost investing in a water proof Garrett. Please offer a website to see how not to get arrested?
Helgramite!!
Hey chigger Im getting ready to buy a new AT Max , got any recommendations on where to buy it?
