Finally, I saw a video use the basket and the pot for steaming sticky rice. I saw theses two items at a store, but didn’t know how to use it. I thought it was a basket hat. The store staffs said it to wash the rice. I doubt them. Thanks. Now I know how to use these two items.

Very good, comprehensive video! I personally disagree with the seasoning comment, however:
For jasmine rice, I include about 1-2 large pinches of salt. For short-grain rice, 1/3 of the cooking liquid is sake, I add a large pinch of salt, and some dried konbu to the pot.
I pre-soak the rice for 30 minutes in both cases; then do a 1:1 ratio of rice to cooking liquid; heat on high till boil, then cook on low for 5 minutes; turn off the heat and leave rice covered for 10 minutes; aerate and serve.
I love sticky rice and just bought a big package from Thailand. I keep looking for ways to make it in a rice cooker but I guess I need to give up and steam it. Lol
