i love to see you playing this. btw, hexgold sledge is probably MVP for this entire archetype. i'd highly recommend it as a full 4 copies if you ever revisit this.
Hi Andrew, I would like to hear you talking about deck building. It's easy to copy a list, but more challenging thinking from scratch, considering a meta, or from a new card or interactions. Thanks a Lot for your videos!
Jesus christ, that first game: -When you're an innocent new player on Arena just getting used to the game so you throw every single card you opened in your welcome bundle packs into one deck, and your first matchup on the ladder is Pro Tour player Andrew Cuneo -Andrew normally being very dry and polite about opponents' less than optimal deckbuilding choices, but even he broke character upon seeing Deathbloom Gardener -The fact that due to land screw and autotapper shenanigans, Andrew actually almost lost the first game -Not assuming the Jewel Mine Overseer's gender -Andrew saying with a completely straight face that the opponent might have a board wipe after they chumped a 3/3 with a 2/2 at 21 life -The reaction to Stronghold Arena -The last pre-combat Kindled Heroism for style points Best Arena content bar none.
I seriously recommend not to skip game 1 match 1. The whole game was comedy gold. Reminds me of that one game where Andrew's opponent was obssessed with opt.... Damn.
My 2 cents here. Players perceive Alchemy as a Standard for whales, and the 3 years rotation might have made things even worse. Why should someone craft rares playable only in half of the formats on Arena and last in standard for only 2 years, when the same rare last 3 on standard and it's (in theory, not much in practice) playable in all the formats? They should make alchemy packs more accessible to invite people to play the format

Really enjoying these alchemy vids !
Liking the alchemy content Andrew Cuneo!

You should check out "Next Level Deckbuilding" by Patrick Chapin sometime if you can. That book even contains a few of Andrew's decks!

Experimental Confectioner was in Jumpstart Wilds of Eldraine for those who don't know like me before I googled it.
Ok fine Andrew Cuneo, I guess I will play Alchemy!!
(Gonna try a Knight Errant of Eos strategy I think)

New episode of Counting with Cunio just dropped: 13 7 Dwarves
Can you play Magda + seven dwarves in historic?
There's an alchemy red drop 3 with For Mirrodin that's pretty amazing, conjuring a goblin alongside the equipment and the 2/2
If you want to flicker your dwarves, war-whips, and overseers you can play Nahiri's Resolve
Would love to see a creative AC alchemy control deck
basic land?
1 not being on Frodo is because of Colossal Hammer I guess, even though I think that's not even legal anymore in Alchemy.
It makes the curve more awkward, you can't play the full combo until turn 3 vs having it on turn 2
