    An angel is what you are
    Sent from the palace of Eros
    Leaves , vines, swirls and a flower
    Turn you and your art into heroes
    Yes , you are a real hero who spreads happines amongst people .... And make them fall in love with their hands and teach other people to do the same .....
    Love this and all other designs of yours .....love you

    I just ordered your brushes and can't wait to try them out ... I've been playing with nails at home for years, doing gel nails but have always wanted to practice my art work on nails ... taking what I do on canvas and shrinking it.
    I can't wait ... your tutorials are the best and I thank you for your honesty and fun on your channel!
    Hi Juicy!!

      awwww...omg, i LOVE this comment. thank you so so so much! *huge hug* I have to say..this last month has been so hard on youtube and facebook. everything is up in the air...no one is getting paid....there is tons of corruption and everyone is pulling out ads and i am doing this for free. I don't know how long I can keep up a pace for free so knowing its getting out to women like you makes all the difference right now. i consider this the dark age of youtube...where you can post anything and its all believable and strange behavior is encouraged and shared....i dont really fit here yet, but i cant give up and you and others who come at me with such amazing kindness and truth make it easier. so, thank you so much!

    These sort of rusty, dusty colors remind me of precious, well kept Antiques. Something vintage and very elegant and fine. And the designer has to be Oscar DeLa Renta because I immediately said that as soon as you mentioned it, right before you said his name too! Fate!

      Ivelisse Rivera i cannot. I am working very hard on chipping wood and a garden right now. It is my goal to teach this craft two younger girls who have pretty nails and retire 💟💟💟💟💟 but, if I were just starting out and trying to make a name for myself, I certainly would do that!

      thank you. i am too kathy....i HAD this voice...this very strong voice when i started and then it left me...i am getting it back slowly and every video brings me strength back! i am so so glad you notice and appreciate it. it actually made me tear up......it means the world to me that i teach this because i think it will really, really help our industry and so many girls when it is EMBRACED as an art and it is attainable and it adds to beauty, it doesnt hurt anything......i never had the desire to be a face for the rockstar nail artist ......i avoided it my whole career and now i can make others dreams come true of taking that title if they want it......and i can teach and laugh and paint...for me, that seems so easy but its been a hard road and so your comment is very special to me. thank you so much.

    • @robinmosesnailart
      @robinmosesnailart  6 років тому

      wendy...................amen girl. i dont know what im doing at all really.......i have so many jobs that i just share the best as i can but im not doing it right i dont think.... what i know is other channels have teams of people all helping to dial into every facet they can (and then you are tied to really controlling facets of youtube) the money spent is eating smaller channels like mine alive....mix that with the fact that ads are also being pulled because of all of the 'crazy' on youtube.....and i am officially making almost nothing here....but i have faith because of women like you..
      I have let go and just am sharing art and being true to me and what i have learned in my career and hope it makes great artists! It is the small thing I can do. I just CANT make 100mph videos with techno music or make my channel like a gameshow for expensive products... its not ME and i dont fit anywhere.my faith is in creating a fit for artists like us over time...that is my goal and i think it can be done. if we together could create a base of artists who all support equally...it will thrive...it just takes patience and time (just like nail art) LOL.....omg..i wrote a novel again! but? its all my truth so...thank you. its hard and i appreciate what you are doing so much! we got this!

    Stunning! On the topic of spring... don't know if u have ever tried INM Northern Lights holographic top coat, but it is absolutely amazing for adding bits of yummy diamond glitter to designs.. it's a really scattered glitter ratio, but the particles are insanely reflective and it dries to touch in less than a minute...

    • @robinmosesnailart
      @robinmosesnailart  6 років тому +1

      hahhahahahaah i think i just had a long conversation about this in a video i just made. i didnt know if they still made it because 'holo' doesnt have that same 'omg' it use to have, its even a bit passe' (not to me lol) ...i talked briefly about the first time i saw it and how captivating it was to me. it was 11.00 a bottle and i couldnt really afford it but i made myself buy it and i still keep the first empty bottle in my drawer. im weird that way....few things change my heart and the invention of northern lights and using it instead of stones changed my life and ended up saving me 100000s of dollars on stones in the long run...i am loyal to something that amazing .... LOL its the marilyn monroe of polish *laughing* thank you for making me smile rachel!!!!! *huge hug*

I have an entire drawer full of empty bottles right there with ya sister!😘)

    Those accent nails, Robin😍😍😍 And Revlon Cherries in the Snow was my go to red in the 80s, WOOT!
    I have tremendous problems with matte top coat not drying, no matter what brand (tried four). Even hours later it will dent. Drives me nuts! Maybe the Oregon climate?

    • @robinmosesnailart
      @robinmosesnailart  6 років тому +1

      dazzledry does dry in 6 minutes.....but, i hear you. i add cornstarch to wet and wild topcoat too....until my channel is popular and i have help filming this stuff, i cant make those types of videos..i am just too busy for one person. LOL..but...that works but you dont get as much of that 'finished' look with it.....nyc matte dries okay? i know this....vegas is wayyyyyyy easier to paint this type of art than oregon...the dry time is double here.

    • @myoung6968
      @myoung6968 6 років тому +1

      Wetnwild has a matte and I think its great. I've also tried several. I used up two bottles and poured the dregs into one. That bottle is my fave it's a little gooeyier but it does dry. I'm in South Louisiana where the humidity is in the 90% range most of the year (near the bayous) I find the humidity exacerbates traditional polishe's abitity to dry. As if it can't off gas? into the atmosphere as well as in lower humidity climates.

    Hey, those color you put on the plate and mixed together. Are they regular nail polish? What type of materials?

    • @robinmosesnailart
      @robinmosesnailart  6 років тому +1

      林Summer hey. Those colors are paints. I describe what I do in many videos. I use materials that cost very little to create art that you can charge your clients lots to create. They are paying for your time and energy invested in practice and patience of excelling at nail art. My products can be bought in the craft store and I do not support companies who sell products at high prices that end up not working. I do this for people all over the world who need help and need to make extra money to feed their families. I am not a regular nail art Channel and I am not going to try and sell you supplies. All of the supplies you need are good brushes and cheap acrylic paints that you buy at Michaels. I have created brushes as cheap as I can that are perfect for all of the videos I have here. They cost $10 and less and can be found at my website linked at the back of every video I make. Have a wonderful day

    • @robinmosesnailart
      @robinmosesnailart  6 років тому +1

      my topcoat was discontinued when i started my channel here.....i went on a search and tried about 20 or so..maybe more....i liked: seche vite, out the door, thick shiney topcoats are wayyyyyy better for hand painted art than thin, super fast drying 'chemically' smelling topcoats...the thicker, lusher topcoats are better...and if you are in a beauty supply..have your hand polished and decorated with paint....go in and test topcoats over your paints and see which have the best reactions. this is what i do ALL THE TIME......it saves me some money and i buy the cheaper products they wont let me test and then if they arent that great, i thin down thick polishes with them. i hope this helps you. :D xoxo

    Even though I'm not a fan of greens this is beautiful! QUESTION:. I have long natural nails that I keep filed rounded to match the shape of my fingertips. I know nail terminology changes all the time, but I have always thought this was the "ballerina" style. What would you term this nail shape as?

      hahahahahah omg...i laughed out loud.....its called natural or oval in my book. if your fingertips are square, it would be called squoval...square and oval...some women have very square tipped fingers and want a natural short shape....but the list is very long...someone needs to go through and edit the replicas. *wink*

      I would dearly love for there to be a "universal" terminology for nail shapes. You missed my horror story of my first... And LAST pro mani last week. (Unless we ever get together in Portland... I'd trust YOU with my previously long, but still beloved nails.)
      And Sunshine is lying here with me whining because I won't let her see you while I'm typing this... Spoiled Miss Bratly! :-)

      it sure is a lot different watching on youtube and being in a chair, eh?..............it is so HARD to get a great light, to edit proper, not cuss, stay in frame, get what you want to say out while you are painting a fairy foot....... etc. alot goes into making artful videos for nails...
      but it does NOT have ANYTHING to do with going to get your nails DONE....nothing hahahahahahahaha. once you are in a chair and someone is touching you....there is no perfect little nail that pops off so you can paint the cuticle perfectly!!!.....or a light hand that doesnt scratch, file, buff or cut at your sidewalls until your hands throb.......doing beautiful work in a block of time is ANOTHER art all together .......that is real...and when people my channel will explode and i have faith.... i have to be patient but i completely understand...thats why i do this. i left a novel OUT of this...because there is so much i could say here....but i am trying. :D
