when you use the compulsion tracker, doesn't it become a compulsion in of itself? I found the app to be triggering my ocd more often than just not using it and going about my day.

Can someone please help me ? Does anyone else get false memories from something that happened like an hour or two ago. This is happening to me now and I can’t tell if this is OCD or if I have done something bad and acted on an intrusive thought. I just can’t figure it out because nobody would have seen me if I did act it out and now that makes me more worried.

If you get the thoughts after it happened then it’s 100% not true ! Even if u get the thoughts while it is happening it’s still not true. If you question it then it never happened. If it did happen YOU WOULD KNOW and not doubt or question it.

Tracking becomes really stressful and gradually grows to be part of OCD. It is like that for me, maybe it is really helpful for others.

You should not be obsessing about tracking perfectly. When tracking doesn't work it is usually because of perfectionism.

does anybody else get this permanent anxiety? This anxiety wasnt even provoked by gay thoughts its just exists.
I got hocd for now for 2 years (or more), 2 years ago i meditated and made erp, and it helped me a lot, my anxiety was gone (for the most of the time), but now like a month ago i got it back, again im trying meditation, im trying not to avoid false attractions thoughts and other stuff, but this anxiety is just here in the middle of the chest all day long.
I do not know how cope with it, if i ignore it becomes even more disturbing if i accept it also doesn't really help
Can anyone give any advise on this?

@@ahmedsudaisbatuaan it's hard to say, well, definitely much better than a couple of weeks ago, I just get unpleasant thoughts / sensations, then anxiety comes, I say to myself like okay, and after a while it becomes easier and so several times a day; I stopped ruminating and analyzing the situation, and I think it helps a lot not to get into this anxiety, I start to relate to it easier. in any case, it hasn't been enough time to judge something, but there are days when I feel great and I don't give a shit about these thoughts, and sometimes I catch myself giving them too much meaning, thus I'm already in this cycle of anxiety. I decided for myself that if according to this strategy 'not giving shit about ocd and not ruminating' I do not improve my situation, then I will just go to the doctor, well smth like that
      and how are you doing?

@@honeykumar5448 I'm not sure if my answer went to you, since I don't see it
just in case I will duplicate
I am still far from cure
anxiety varies from day to day, but meditation helps me cope
everything will be fine, we are not the first and we are not the last who suffer from this
in OCD, the main thing is to accept your thoughts (what they are, and not act in accordance with them), accept anxiety
it helps your brain to understand that these thoughts are just rubbish
because the more attention you pay to them, the more effect they have on you
good luck, do not hesitate to ask any questions or even write about your successes (it helps everyone, both you and those who read this)

I told my mom everything at first she supported me but now she's saying that I'm over reacting and just over thinking about things there is no problem with me and what I can do is just cry and after that it makes me feel like I'm over reacting and over thinking and I don't have HOCD which I'm again doubting about and then it feels like I'm changing into bi but was never into girls ( I'm a girl ) I have always liked boys now I just don't know what to do... I don't have that much anxiety now it's just I don't want to get up from my bed I'm literally doubting myself now like Who am I?... what am I?...I'm just scared to go out and no one understands PLEASE REPLY IF ANYONE FEELS THE SAME OR CAN HELP ME I LITERALLY DON'T KNOW THAT I NEED HELP OR NOT I JUST CAN'T THINK ANYTHING

Yes don't worry we are all going through this. My mom also says the same thing as all my loved ones, it's hard for them to understand why it's so hard to just ignore these thoughts. But just push through don't give them importance, follow what Ali is saying and eventually it will pass. I personally started with harm ocd and then it started flipping all over the place making me doubt every single thing I thought to be 100% true to myself but it somehow how finds a way to make you doubt it and start believing that ok if I am feeling this way it must be true. But it isn't. Like Ali says trust yourself. Say to yourself I trust myself and don't give in to the fear and slowly slowly the thought will give up and move along. Stay strong. And remember we are all going through this very exact struggle.
