You can jump out of the 3rd office windows and run along the edge of the building to the 4th office windows and hop in if you are unable to find the key. Only really useful if someone already looted the key and didn't unlock the office, but I see a few people complaining here. Hope this helps!

i got the hard drive but cant give it to mechanic. i was in the office but i dont get the check on "acces the scientiest office". but i was in it and took the Hard drive into my stash. wtf. cant complete it now. i was 2 times in the office in diffrent rounds
Dont skip steps either, because of that I had to go back and redo the quest because I just went straight to picking up the hard drive with my group. You gotta find the bodies first, grab the key and get inside the office before you get the hard drive to do all the steps. I tried to do it all again on my second run but someone looted the key but didnt open the door, which is annyoing because getting inside the office is a required step that only shows up after seeing the bodies. So now i need at least a third raid to complete this task when it could have been one.
I just learned this the hard way. I came through the main entrance so I went to the key first, opened up the room and grabbed the HDD. Checked out the PMCs on my way out. So I will have to go back and get into the office again, but the HDD is in my quest item Stash so hopefully I just need to run into the office and run back out. Might grab the HDD again just in case.

My very first raid was great killed 4 PMCs a handful of scavs and found Emmercom, unfortunately eight raids unfortunately, the next eight raids have been awful. I have the hard drive and I found the body and the PMC group but because of doing it out of order I still have to go back to the office for some stupid reason and I’ll probably die 780,000 times before then
@@CYRAQUESS99 not necessarily. If an adversary gets to the science office before you and unlocks it, you can just walk right in although key or not you still have to “visit the scientist”

Don't know if it's important to mentioned or interesting. Even if the key is guaranteed. You can take the office window next to the couches, crouch on the balcony and break the window into the office and go right back out, saving you from using the key.

You can actually climb inside through the adjacent room if you brake a window and go through the railing, no key required.

It is extremely irritating to give new players a task on a "insane" difficulty map.
People are shit stains on this map. Just camping the missions to keep new players from getting them done.
