Its that time again! Goku Black's combo structure compared to a lot of the cast is fairly Orthodox, but the damage is still there so that's what matters!
This is why your guides are the best around, you actually makes it with people learning in mind, slowing it down with text notes. Most others are just show off vids.
I try my best to make my combo stuff 1) understandable to everyone, which is why I add the descriptors and slow stuff down, I find myself often rewinding other peoples videos multiple times cause everything is going too quick. 2) real match practical, too many people focus on combos you will never see in real match situations.
I just wanted to say thank you roofle. While i've been playing black for a while now, my combos with him were lacking. I've been trying to lab him recently and figure stuff out but when looking online I haven't found anything super useful or up to date, so this video couldn't have come at a better time. Much appreciated.
That sparking combo was spicy as hell. I kept looking over thinking, “He sparked and I just didn’t notice, right?” But nah, you just did a casual 75% damage before even getting into Sparking.
This was well timed for me. Had regular Goku on my team, mostly for the beam assist, but never truly jived with the character. I think Black might fit my playstyle better, plus having a team of 3 bad guys is just way more fun. Looking forward to the tips & tricks video.
@@ZeeshanKhan-rj1kl mostly due to development of other characters, team synergy considerations, and patches making other characters more viable. Black was super appealing early on because of his simple yet very effective neutral options. once the community developed a savvy to the instant transmission and command grab gimmicks people started migrating to characters with better gimmicks or stronger mix-up potential. others only had black on the team for the beam assist, but (it is generally the opinion that) Black has a weaker DHC than S.Goku, Goku has a pretty solid neutral of his own, and can double super far easier, all with the exact same assist. That said, Black still has a simple yet effective neutral and access to some impressive damage with one of the best assists in the game; not a bad choice. *Note*: Also, anyone that picked up Black early on to play the game on Easy Mode switched to unga-bunga Bardock.
For instant after assist call , I can hit LLL but when I'm hoaming the opponent recovers. Also any tips on the assist call. Sometimes I miss them. I try to press both H and A1 at the same time but the H animation does not trigger.

I aswell havnt been playing fighterz lately though iv been wanting to scvi is just so fun and i still havnt put in enough training time so i think, its my 1st sc game iv ever owned and i really enjoy it alot id like to say i have 2 minor combos iv never seen anybody else do nor have i seen it in a vid so i feel pretty good about that
i often complain about it because its so much slower in term of frame amount compared to the others. i always get fucked when i try to pull a raw one and even when i think im positive when teleporting.
You lose out on damage in the end. Corner combos shown are basically universal, a lot of ones that use down+heavy(that do comparable damage) in the corner are hyper character specific, edge case, or more difficult than is practical in a real match.
@@tofu_max4420 oh that, then yeah that's cause of hit-stun decay. Those combos are made in mind with an average starter, and adding extra hits past whats shown like a down heavy into jump cancel into more, is gonna make you drop the combo. Its very easy for Goku black to hit max hitstun decay solo.
Great vid, I am a Demon (Xbox: MortalKombatOP) and I am struggling to use goku black like a used to in Supreme Kai, because he lacks mixups, but I realise one mistake i'm making, not using dragon rushes and not using goku black's actual amazing damage combos
Goku black has many situations where he can force you to guess, just not with a fast low. This is probably something ill cover in the tips guide but his biggest strength is its much easier for him to win neutral just cause rando god slicer + assist, or rando 2h > most other peoples options.
I focus on stuff that is real match practical. There is a lot of stuff out there that will never see the light of day in an actual match and only exists for combo videos, I will let other people do that.
@@Rooflemonger i checked it and the damage its almost the same. Depends of the starter, if i start with jh 5ll, one combo does more damage, but if i start with 2m, the opposite happen. But anyway, the combo shown in your video is more universal that the combo im talking about (only for big guys, idk if it works in another character), but i though that you could show them what black is capable of against them, i bet that people would love to get that combo in a match, its a very cool looking combo But if you dont want, i have no problem, i understand :)

You forgot to mention the midscreen ex dive kick combo and when u super dash and ur near the corner u can ex dive kick and cont the combo

combos are easy to learn the hard thing is actually doing them in an online match, ive learned so many combos but i cannot perform them at online
