Lewis has said that pope is better than ederson, trippier is better than Walker,Schar better than any Man City centre back, isak is better than haaland, longstaff is better than Rodri, by his logic Newcastle should have dominated the Man City team
Just because it was Man City the best team in the world, doesn’t mean they didn’t get battered. There’s an explanation and an understand for why because Man City are so good but it still means they got battered.
They did the same against Liverpool. Liverpool had the highest xG ever accumulated in one game. He said they didn't get Battered because the score was 3:2(the penalty didn't count according to him). You can get battered and still score goals on the counter. It's about how the game went for 90 minutes.
City had 2-3 players they could possibly bring on to maybe make a difference they brought 2 on, we don’t have amazing depth like people say we’ve got a small club compared to a lot of people it’s probably one of the smallest in the league

City missed so many sitters which usually goes in,and Newcastle scored two worldies which usually doesn’t go in,on any other day the score easily could’ve been 4-0 or 5-0.
I do agree with the opinion that Newcastle were in the game. The biased against Newcastle is painful! The game is played based on the scoreline and at 2-1 up against city no team in the world is going to be going at them. If it was 2-1 city at half time Newcastle would need to have more possession and more chances so would have to play differently. Clearly city deserved to win the game but Newcastle had a period in the first half where city were all over the place at the back and that was due to Newcastle pressing them. They were too tired to do this in the second half and needed some attacking subs. KDB made the difference as before he came on It didn’t look like city would break them down! It was a good game and both teams could have scored more. Newcastle had a goal ruled offside and isak missed a 1 on 1 with the keeper at 2-1. City deserved to win but it wasn’t like Liverpool game the week before. Far from it !

I'm all for stats, but having the best stats doesn't always guarantee that you win a game. Quoting only possession and shots stats after a game to claim a "total demolition" is poor punditry and a poor argument. City dominate games against pretty much every team, but sometimes they lose. Applying the same logic, based on using possession and shot stats, would mean that you would have to say that city demolished teams even when city lose. The way I saw it was that it a team who overachieved last season, still have championship quality players, and also many more games to deal with. On top of that with the injuries they’ve had 10th in the league doesn’t seem so bad. I reckon they’ll still end up finishing top 6
@@henrybullock4514 newcastle fans themselves were bigging their team up to do big things. I was their own expectation
@@Sh23-hv7sn 4th actually which probably reflects your football knowledge. The fact have had 50 years of success and heritage and forgot to mention that. Mind you you do have Darwin Nunes. I'll bet you a sack full of unicorn pubes that you will never, never the title with Nunes as your main striker.
This guy has a memory like a sieve, obvs forgot when he said longstaff was better than Rodri this season
The fair neutral analysis of that game would be; The better team won, but needed the substitutions to win the game as they couldn't break down Newcastle in the second half.
Newcastle fans saying they’d replace spurs in the big 6, we went to Man City with injuries and still managed to pull it back for a draw
How exactly could anyone even suggest that we’re worse than both chelsea and man utd
This is why I love Lewis
lewis picks and chooses when newcastle are a big club and not
All time great Lewis performance here
Has Theo had the worst hair transplant in history?
we went two nil down to red star belgrade and rb leipzig it doesn’t take a special team to do what Newcastle did
I can't watch these clips anymore. Blind leading the blind.
I feel bad it looks like they could have finished 4th/5th and get through to the knockouts of the Champions league in a very tough group, they were unlucky but flopped in December.
Tom Theo and Reeve were hard to watch lmaoo they only wanna hear the answer they want and not what Lewis was explaining 😂
The hatred for Newcastle on this channel is a complete joke but Lewis is actually the most embarrassing and clueless Newcastle fan to represent the club. What a mess 🤦😂
Newcastle fans are a mixture of Liverpool, Arsenal and United fans at this point. Brag about having the best players in the world, moan about every little thing that doesnt go their way and when things matter and they need to performe their soft underbelly comes out
Lewis is bang on but the problem being he's made too many stupid comments throughout the season meaning now when Newcastle are doing bad they will jump on it.
This podcast needs to stop trying to have serious discussions, Tom and Theo are unbearable when they do, pods much more enjoyable when they just have a laugh
Score doesn’t mean domination
Who let Theo cook???
Lewis is just sad Newcastle isn't a main character
best way to start the day :)
I feel like Lewis always backs Newcastle whenever they show some success but as soon as it starts going downhill it’s a squad depth problem or he’s never said his team was good. He literally was saying Newcastle was better than City but since they lost he’s never claimed those sentences ever according to him and blames everyone else for telling him what he said originally. He’s stupid.
People criticise Tom but hes the best out of them
Pitchside is the most hyperbolic content in football
Newcastle thought they were back after beating a championship team lmao. Joelinton out for the season from that game as well now, oops.
I hate the notion that you can’t batter a team if you only win by 1 goal.
Lewis battering the hosts 3v1 every season like Newcastle battered Arsenal.
Easy work
Iceland is more heated than this 'debate'.
Only 1 who can chat to Lewis about this is Tom cuz Theo and reev r hilariously biased without ever seeing it. However “Howe has never turned it round” is ludicrous it’s 1 bad run at Bournemouth he’s basing it off as if Bournemouth never had bad runs before that season with him when he still kept them up.
Lewis : “ur exaggerating”
Tom:”I don’t think I am”
Lewis: “I called us a super team?”
Tom: “im exaggerating but…”
🤣🤣🤣
