  • Glass Central Station is honored to present this content from the Glass Craft & Bead Expo. Andrew Jackson Pollack demonstrated a fritted chickadee-style bird sculpture for his class during the Expo. In addition to basic coloring technique with frit, Andrew also demonstrated the "stick and snap" method of adding eyes with milli. Bandhu Dunham, author of "Contemporary Lampworking," created a fish for his class during the Expo. Bandhu used this demonstration to illustrate fundamental concepts of gathering and shaping glass and shared some great tips for adding eyes in alignment and dealing with labeled rods.
