Strange that it can't sip bus power and demands a further external power source - this seems like quite an unwieldy compromise for a portable design...
Yep it looks like something that got overlooked in the design of the e series. but given these devices with multiple phantom connected mics won't last long on internal power and most power banks have at least 2 outputs, it's just an extra cable required.
