This is quintessential Susanne Sundfor. If I had to play someone one track to show what she's about it's this one. Susanne is the best female singer songwriter on the planet by miles.
Where did she hide? Why wasn't the whole world talking about her limitless talent, 'bout her art? This is so beautiful! Her songs are so amazing! Such beauty can heal people's soul.

Well... we found her anyway. ;)
her music is truly a healer to a troubled mind, helping to ease me to a gentle slumber with another truly beautiful song
The flute and piano parts at the end of the song takes it to another level of beauty
yes was just thinking that- just stunning
Is it harp that comes in at 2:00? It sounds like maybe something else. Great track.
Don't forget the harp
it's a kankle sorry 😭
transverse flute is so calming ☺🖤
LYRICS:
No one believes in love anymore
They throw away the keys, no one knocked on the door
No one knocked on the door, knocked on the door
You reap what you sow, no one knocked on the door
Pain is pleasure and then just pain
Chasing the thunder and lost in the rain
You are lost in the rain, lost in the rain
Yourself to blame, you are lost in the rain
The skin so enticing, the thrill of the sting
Then drops the stinger and the spinning begins
Oh, yes, the spinning begins, the spinning begins
The world has gone off the hinges, and the spinning begins
A downwards spiral, punctured balloon
Disfigured and pale looking up at the Moon
Looking up at the Moon, up at the Moon
We’ll all get there soon, looking up at the Moon
not sure, but the Lyrics sound like an Heroin needle story..
Masterpiece.
My favourite song ❤
The new album is the best yet- Fantastic. What an artist. 'The spinning begins'- hits right in the feels.
The voice is peculiarly heart-breaking here. It's almost unbearable but this is pure beauty and truth...
My favourite of the album. It has such a classic tragic/romantic melody.
Im crying
I absolutely love these new songs. This album is more like her earlier music, which is something I wanted her to do. Brilliant.
You're making you're own league susanne ... i believe that any other vocalist out there is not even close to your level , you're a goddess !
I feel same emotion when i listen this song as i listen the song "darlings" which in previous album. Same broken, pure hopeless and accepted feel.
I'm almost in love with this wonderful lady, just booked a ticket for her gig at the Barbican in London, cannot wait
My God what an amazing track- the instrumental with the flute, piano and harp is up there with the most beautiful music I have ever heard- just stunning!😌
Masterpiece!!!
Sad song, flute so beautiful!
Sundfør is getting so real about love that her music turns out deeply beautiful, this song is such a great cure for the illusion called love. The most evil thing I ever have experienced is love.
…this is the exact type of thought process this song's lyrics condemn, just saying
My fav song on the album
Brilliant.

Now we're here ❤
As always, just stunning to hear you sing. Your lyrics, poetry in the purest sense/form. Bless your sweet soul. Thank you for the music you share w/ the world.

Beautiful. absolutely gorgeous, everything about this song is so nice
Love you Susanne 🙂
1 life - 1 truth - keep it in mind! Beauti-/awful song!! Love, Susanne!!
But you're so far away
Doesn't anybody stay in one place any more?
The instrumental part reminds me The last unicorn movie.
there is no way not to fall in love
Stunning!
❤❤❤
No one believes in love anymore
They throw away the keys, no one knocked on the door
No one knocked on the door, knocked on the door
You reap what you sow
No one knocked on the door
Pain is pleasure and then just pain
Chasing the thunder and lost in the rain
You are lost in the rain, lost in the rain
Yourself to blame
You are lost in the rain
The skin so enticing, the thrill of the sting
Then drops the stinger and the spinning begins
Oh yes the spinning begins, the spinning begins
The world has gone off the hinders, and the spinning begins
A downards spiral, punctured balloon
Disfigured and pale looking up at the mloon
Looking up at the moon, up at the moon
We'll all get there soon
Looking up at the moon
haunting...

Come to Turkey please 😭😭😭
Sad piece, almost a Ozymandias feel to it that there are multiple interpretations open, but yet the end is still the same sad result. But very pretty, lonely, and sad.
Like a Beautiful woman who has cast aside love because of the pain of it, only to find out that she still desires it too late and has lost all of her chances while playing the field for sex not love.
Or a BDSM individual who chases the thrill of the moment, only to realize too late that it is not just the act of intimacy with another they crave, but love and have missed it by only concentrating on pleasure in relationships.
Or someone dealing with a drug problem and they have let it take control of their life. No one from their old life knows them now, or will help them anymore. Chasing the thunder is the high, lost in the rain the problems you have when you are down
The sting the needle, the spinning the drugs action, and the rest is self explanatory.
(note I have a daughter that is going through meth addiction, and I can very easily relate this too this song, its results are so unfortunate and she knows she only has herself to blame for starting the path...so if you are GOING to comment on this particular portion please keep it civil)
I can probably think of some other interpretations, but I think I have proven my point that like Ozymandias you can look at it from different views and perspectives, but the end result with still be the same great despair and sadness it brings. A work of art, truly
The first time I heard you, you became my favorite. Very reminiscent of "Take One". Still in its plastic package and unopen.
From 4:29 to 4:50.. Total eargasme here..
I wanted to ask at a show if her musical guest could play the flute in this, but it was actually Jesse who performed it in the album. They totally killed it. Saved myself some embarrassment.
Linda, você e a música. Bjs
wow
no one knock on the door 😔😔
third norway (or is it nordic? sorry for my english) singer/band I've ever heard, and still good. seems like Nordic people have good taste in music (or they just match with mine). the two others being of monsters and men, and aurora.
as I live in south east asia, it's hard to find info about Norwegian music, I even changed my youtube location to Norway, and all I get are still mainstream pop music (most of them american music). so I'd like to ask you guys to recommend me the names of artists that I might find interesting to hear if I'm into of monsters and men, aurora, and susanne sundfor's music. thank you.
Check out Madrugada with the record Industrial silence.. I have a feeling you like..
This are Norwegian Artists:
Sigrid
a-ha!
Kygo
Highasakite,
Kalandra,
Electric Eye
@@baredas yeah, Kalandra is very underrated performer
Ane Brun
Emilie Nicolas
Those are Norwegian artists but if this is your kinda music check out Italian band PFM with albums Storia Di Un minuto and Per Un Amico.
does anyone know where to find flute notes from this music?
I do still believe.
Tinder killed love.....
2 dislike seems never tasted love before...
Ποιος ειναι ο ρυθμος της αγαπης νεε μου ερωτες;
(1 Corinthians 13:4-8)
"Love is patient and kind.
Love is not jealous.
Love does not brag,
does not get puffed up,
does not behave indecently,
does not look for its own interests,
does not become provoked.
It does not keep account of the injury.
It does not rejoice over unrighteousness but rejoices with the truth.
Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never fails."
I believe in love. :)
kxmode :)
"Love is not jealous"
I have a friend who thinks otherwise. They don't exactly enjoy being jealous, but they feel oddly comforted and desired the few times when their partner gets jealous.
A few sentences here and there are very debatable as well.
I don't think it is a proper thing to describe love for other people, even if the bible itself did it it is still open for interpretation. Only bother yourself with what you're looking for, what is respectful to expect, and what you can give. Nobody else in the world should describe love for you other than you and your partner.
ELFA
What's the name of the instrument that plays at 3:58? Sounds awfully like ukrainian Bandura
Harp?
Kankles, a Lithuanian zither.
Haunting, yet gorgeous, like something Carly Simon may have done during her No Secrets era. Why is the most talented female artist of this generation virtually unknown outside of Norway? Either she wants it that way or she needs to sack her management team.

ow...
love your cheap hotel selfie
I know love's painful and all, but please don't do drugs.
Bitch true
Your voice is angelic, but your music is so sad. You are bringing more sadness to your life. I don't want listen to so much sadness. Please make some happy songs sometimes too. I bet your voice would be so beautiful singing something joyful.
stfu
I actually like the juxtaposition. There can be some beauty found in tragedy somehow.
