Thanks for putting forth the effort to produce this excellent video. You helped me understand - clearly - how the loader is removed & reinstalled. I'm a tractor rookie that just completed the 200 hour service on my B3350. Being able to remove the loader made access a bit easier. If we lived closer, you'd certainly get my business.
Great vid, as usual, love Messicks, but there is one big problem. You didn't show how to release pressure and disconnect the hydraulic lines before you backed away. Some noob is going to have a very unhappy event following these instructions.
First rate video ! Excellent presentation, knowledge, and believability. Looking forward to more of your videos. How to videos would be nice. Thank you.
I've rented a Deere 310J and have used my dad's Mahindra Max 26. Both had that "herky-jerky" motion as you pointed out with the front loader and I couldn't stand it. I'm pretty much sold on a B2650 just based on your videos, but haven't had a chance to try one out, yet. Can't wait to operate the loader and see the difference.
My BX2680's loader isn't smooth either LOL, but I'm pretty sure 99.9% of the problem is the operator in my case HAHA!!! My first tractor and only 14 hours on it so far. I don't even consider myself a novice at this point, I have screwed up a lot of stuff so far and I think these tractors should come with an instructor HAHA!! Great machines, but a huge learning curve for someone new to tractors...the only thing I've ever operated is lawn/garden tractors so the BX is a huge learning curve for me.
Thank you for the details...I'm a newbie to a Kubota..was shown the basics and told to get to work...so tips on the pivots are awesome details that I needed
Does using the loader takeaway from the tractors power pushing ability? What I mean, is if you're pushing into a pile dirt and raising the bucket at the same time, does one take away power from the other resistance in front of the tractor from the material.
On the arms of some (Most?) kubota loaders there are an extra set of holes behind where the bucket cylinders attach. Any purpose to them? Increased bucket rollback?
I never have to do the jerking loader movements on our John deere's maybe because I'm experienced and it comes second nature to me but I think that when people say they don't like how the have to stop the raising of the loader to level the bucket is because they are not experienced at using a loader. I have used many loader brands and never had problems. Content of the video is still good though.
The loader on that B series tractor seems to come off just about as easily as the BX, only requires you to get off the tractor to loader the parking stands on the B-Series...not a bad feature at all. A friend of mine bought a Mahindra a few years ago, and recently after I got my BX2680 saw the SSQA on my BX loader and was like WTH the Mahindra has pins LOL. Course they never take the loader or bucket off and I'm not sure how the loader comes off a Mahindra but he was surprised how easy the loader comes off the BX...Kubota really did a lot of engineering homework on the BX loaders to make them so easy to take off and put back on for most people...myself excluded from this because I haven't been able to do it very easily at all, and the last time caused some damage to the loader as a result...good thing its sitting on concrete not sure I'd ever get it back on if I was stupider than normal and tried removing it out in my yard LOL. The process seems pretty easy, but I've yet to actually see a video of someone taking a loader off a BX, going out and doing several hours worth of work then coming back and trying to get everything aligned again...I think the loader hydraulics had settled or leaked down when the loader was parked on my carport because it sure didn't line up with how it was when I disconnected it...what happened? I didn't think it could leak down when it was disconnected from the tractor since there's no where for the fluid to go, and I don't see any external leaks.
I have this loader on my 2650, I have taken the loader off regularly to mow and find that the parking stands flex easily making it difficult to install. Do you guys ever have any issues with this loader? I notice that many of the other loaders have much more substantial parking stands.
@@MessicksEquip I was thinking that too and have just ordered new stands. Hopefully that will be the solution. Thanks for making these videos and being so helpful and responsive!
Do you happen to know if an older BF300A Kubota FEL operates the same way, or is the jerky single function type that you described on other manufacturers units?
Are you sure about the skid steer quick attach? I know the B26 uses one, but I thought the B50 used the same quick attach as the previous B series, which is not a SSQA. I'll note that the Landpride grapple has a separate design for the Kubota B series and one for a SSQA (like the B26)
Thanks for that info, guess I should do more research than a phone call to the local dealer. I now see that the previous loaders used Kubota QC (quick connect?) to describe the buckets (and pallet frame) whereas now it is just 'quick attach' also where listed it notes that the LA403 buckets will only fit as 'pin-on'. (Minnesota price list from 2014 - thanks to the web - Kubota puts out little information) Just to confirm - those new buckets will swap with the B26, correct? If so that opens up some possibilities, including a nice Kubota made heavy duty round back bucket.
Demolition Cam I know the B50 series is the largest that comes standard with mid PTO. But the Grand L series, since it is a deluxe tractor also comes with a mid PTO. that's the biggest that I know of. But anything larger than that is too much tractor for me so don't know much about them.
@@demolitioncam6519 The BX, B, LX, and the Grand L has an optional mid PTO. Getting into the LX and L series you'd most likely find the mid-PTO being used for rotary brooms, and snow blowers, they do not have a mid-mount mower like the BX and B series machines. The standard L-Series does not offer a mid-PTO....just the Grand-L which like Andy's World mentioned is a deluxe tractor.

Neil, you do a great job of presenting your products in these videos. Messicks is lucky to have you as a team member!

Looks awesome. Kubota B2650 is at the top of my short list.
I talked to this guy the other day he was helpful.
I didn’t know Mac from always sunny in Philadelphia started selling tractors for a living.
Another out instructional video. You've sold me on Kubota.

both are powered by the same pump so in theory yes there could be a difference. Its doubtful you would notice because the pump should recover quickly.
Great job explaining. I am about to purchase one and this has helped a lot. Thank you
I love your videos
Did you disconnect the hydraulics when you removed the bucket?
On the arms of some (Most?) kubota loaders there are an extra set of holes behind where the bucket cylinders attach. Any purpose to them? Increased bucket rollback?
I wish I had quick attach bucket and not a pin on and thanks for the tips I just multiplied that and it comes out 912LBS.
Love your video productions. The bucket needs a tooth - bar installed.
could u make a video on how to put the backhoe on a b series tractor
Thanks, Awesome video.

I was on the fence between kioti and Kubota till I tried the kioti loader. It's almost impossible to do 2 functions with the kioti loader.

Is that on b2320 as well? And does lock in place?
fantastic and great video and very knowledgable ....thanx really helpful as im buying one and collecting from an auction site??

I own one, can't say I've seen that. I'd guess they were smashed once and are now weak.

Its hard to say, but overall you will not find the older loaders as smooth as the current ones.
Steve Alexander Pretty sure they edited out the scene of the lines being ripped out @ 4:12 😂 Sorry Neil!

The B50 quick attach is a skid steer compatible QA. The prior models in the series did not have this option.

I can see a new person busting his hydraulic lines
How much does it cost?
Hydraulic lines? I assume it was edited out but that's a pretty important step to leave out of an instructional video for noobs.
Does the b2601 have a speed dump?
Yes
Right you are! Now I just need to find out what to do with it. Thank you!
How much for loader please

yes

Will this loader fit on a kubota b2530
That's not a model that I know
