      Same question ... and How do you carve the right Angle ? That's my next step

      Thank you, I usually make It 20/25mm , but It depends on the thickness of the body. But you have ti consider that After the carving you Will have a minor thickness.
      In any case After the carving I work on the neck heel in order to have control on the perfect match, thickness and angle.

      For the angle, It depends on the bridge you are using, for a standard tune o matic around 2° Is enough, for other bridges likes bigsby you Need more, up to 4 or 5 degrees.
      In any case you have to check It many times before gluing, to make sure you'll have enough action regolation. I don't angle the pocket, I angle the neck heel, i think this Is simpler.
