Please note that in order to apply for a France Student visa, there is no interview and you only need to submit your documents and biometric data after which your passport is delivered to you via courier if your file is accepted by the embassy and deciding authorities.

Hello, i went to the vfs chennai and submitted my documents on 23 may 2024 and on 27 may i got a mail that your application is ready to collected at vfs chennai..though i opted for courier facility as i live in hyderabad city..they are saying to sign some document and write e- mail regarding this... can you guyz pls help me out what is the consent document is about and why we should sign this ?? Thanks for your comment. We would suggest creating a fresh visa application as it is free of cost and proceed with this new visa application file number unless you have used the old file number for booking your appointment already.

@@amitchhabra-fv6km hey Amit, actually my name was registered in the VFS data base but it didn’t reflect on my appointment letter. But the staff at the VFS office made the correction themselves.

We would suggest you to book your insurance as per your duration of stay in france. If you are applying for student visa, we would recommend you to book insurance for 1 yr or minimum of 6 months.

This type of response is usually made when you do not suggest strong ties back to your country and that you would really return after pursuing your education and not pose as a potential immigrant in front of the country where you are applying for visa.
