Michael and Tiffany, I really enjoy your channel. I think you have been doing a great job. I live in Southern Delaware. However if I was considering The Villages I think I would want a re sale in the north for a couple of reasons. I want mature landscaping. By the time the landscaping in the new areas fills in ---I will be planted in the ground! i also would look for a property with a PAID OFF BOND. Also in a resale the current owners may have already done upgrades to the house. This is just my humble opinion. Thanks again and keep up the good work. Blessings, Sue
Can you do a golf cart ride demonstrating your rain curtains during some of the storms this week. We are all curious how well they do in heavy rain. Your videos are so much fun I think this one would be epic
Looks like you were out near where we live...can't believe we missed you out! My wife and I LOVE it down here in Dabney. Nice and quiet, but also close to Sawgrass and also about 25 mins to East Port when it opens. It's also easy to get "off campus" to the grocery stores in Okahumka and also to the larger chain stores in Leesburg, all of which seem to have better prices than the stores in and near the rest of The Villages. Rumor has it that they may put a golf cart path on that bridge going over the Turnpike, since it will likely need to be replaced anyway when the Turnpike expansion eventually gets up here. We will see, but we're excited to be able to see it all come together. Hopefully this video will help us get some new neighbors!
Sorry we missed you! You make some great points for everyone to consider about the Dabney area. Looking forward to seeing what they build in that area over the next year or so. Thanks!
Thank you for this awesome video -this is great news! Dan and I have been checking out all of our options in The Villages from afar and are very interested in the Courtyard Villas since they have a fence for our l’il pup, Ruby Sue. We’re so excited to take it for a test spin in October. We appreciate all of your information - very helpful for our planning!
We picked moultrie creek bc we’re sandwiched between Eastport and Middleton…Middleton is far enough away and have their own amenities BUT we can use their restaurants, grocery stores, etc but head to Eastport for the other
We looked at homes in Dabney and Lake Denham 2 weeks ago.........found a home I loved but behind the wall was 470 and could hear the noise, all those homes we looked at were discounted. We looked at the Anhinga home, it was very nice.
You guys’ videos get better and better. An idea for a future vid: if TV allows it, get a ‘tour’ of a construction site so we can see how the cement homes are built. Thanks!!
I heard the lot at the end of Chandler is supposed to be a gas station and the clearing of the other side of 470 is because they are going to be widening the road. Thanks for all of your great videos!
Hi Mike, My wife and I love you’re videos. We are currently closing in Shady Brook Aug 15. We were wondering if you could cruise through the neighborhoods after the storm we are curious about any flooding issues in that Eastport area. Thanks
Thank you Michael for the great information. My wife and I will be there this weekend for our life style visit. We’ll be checking out some of the great deals you talked about.
We have got to get down to that area to see what it looks like now. We saw it on our lifestyle visit last October and it looks so different now. Not like a construction zone.😊
Thanks for another helpful video. Do you have any idea on the timing of commercial activity in Dabney/Lake Denham area? (Restaurants, shopping, entertainment, etc.)
Good timing. We just posted a full tour video of all 5 of these new floor plans. Here is the link. Thanks! ua-cam.com/video/OAS-DDUuNsg/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
Thanks for all of your informative videos and look forward to each one! Looking to purchase there as well and will be visiting in October for two weeks. Hope to see you around!
Prices in the villages per sqft is actually up Year over Year. These few homes will sell and in a few years all the shopping and restaurants will be opened and having the turnpike close by is definitely a plus. Good video
Definitely not for us! Not at all into community. Building in the mountains on lots of acreage. Can't even see our nearest neighbor. To many people. I am originally originally from Florida but hate heat and humidity. Especially when you don't live by the water.
Does the weather get really bad, when you have an Hurricane in your region ? What exactly do you do ? , stay at home or leave to another State ? Thank you, Debbie
This part of the state is where coastal areas evacuate to. No need to leave. Buried facilities and well engineered water management help make The Villages probably the most safe place in Florida to live.
My wife and are are doing a lifestyle visit on august 9th for 7 nights. Would love to meet you two and get some advise on making the move do own there.
Hey, Its a good time to get bottle water with storm coming. Keep your car gassed up. Have white bread and peanut butter and jelly at hand you might want to pick up one of those phone bank or a little power handheld Power Station like you can use the charge your cell phone up with you can plug it into your car
When there’s just a few homes left to sell in a newer village they always discount them to move them faster. Once they’ve moved on to another area and are selling those homes they want to close out what’s left in the previous villages. This has been the norm for as long as the Villages has existed. Maybe you talk about this in the video… I haven’t watched yet, but will later with hubs. I did give you a like already though. 👍🏻😊

I’m a 55+ recent retiree thinking of moving there. Looks like a fun place ❤

Love your choice of music!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks!
Not to be a bummer. But, you have to wonder about the quality of construction with those home being slapped together so fast.
Great show..and hello to your lovely wife ms tiffany..have a great week❤
Groovy episode. I hear the Villages is being surrounded with businesses and hotels and apartment which will stop the Villages from growing.

Love all the golf car rides - as a future resident it helps me become more familiar with the area. Thanks for all you and Tiffany do!
Love when you add the actual map…villages are large, beautiful but you can get turned Around easily 😂.love your videos …moultrie creek newbies ❤ R&A
Another great video! Thx
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks!

Thanks! It will be interesting to see what this area looks like in 6 months or a year.
Thanks for the video Mike. I find it strange that only the website shows the discounts not the app.
This may be your best video yet.

Thanks Steve! Glad you enjoyed it. Can’t wait for college football season! Kickoff is 4 weeks from this Saturday! Go Tigers! 🐅

Our pleasure! Have fun on your lifestyle visit and say hello if you see us out and about. Be prepared for the afternoon thunderstorms. Thanks!

Absolutely! Totally agree! Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks!
What is a "Lifestyle visit "?

Great questions! We are going to do a video or 2 about hurricanes and hurricane preparedness for our area very soon. Thanks!

What are the average homeowners insurance costs?

This may be an odd question, how are the misquotes when you have a house by the water? I really enjoy watching your adventures.
