Board 7 was absolutely brilliant. I'm practicing squeezes, but recognizing them still takes me a lot of time. You identifying both squeezes so quickly is awesome to see.
bravo guys.... i have watched most of your videos, but this one was not only the most successful, but also, perhaps the most entertaining and educational. thanks!!!!!!
On the hand with the choice between the strip squeeze or the diamond finesse for everything, I would like to ask Gavin which he would choose if he were playing (a) a regional stratified pairs, (b) the National Life Master Pairs.
Board 7 if East discarded down to 2 hearts and 1 club in the end it would be harder to figure out their shape and the strip squeeze would require a guess. Though I don't think the robots ever bare their honors so playing East for two clubs in the end is right. (West did well to keep their club to not give away club distribution) Although, West playing H2 and not returning a heart after getting in with SQ suggest that they probably have a singleton heart, so we can play East for 6 hearts anyways, in which case they have at most one diamond so the finesse is marked :)

Entire set phenomenal, Gavin playing like a world champion.
The most impressive set ever.

You know you are in another dimension 57% on the first board is a 'bad' score!
Isn't board 2 a straightforward 1NT?
He’s back!
No sound for. Gavin
