Don’t let that be the end of the EF !
An S4 for $1500?! Where does this guy buy his cars? I wanna go with him next time!
bad trans. yeah i can see sold for 1.500$
when you just gave up on dumping money into an old car even more if its an euro car.
could of end at the junkyard but he wanted just a bit more money!
@@Bowtie4me please share your glasses with me because i could never see this ever happening in real life, let alone a budgeted challenge.
@@H4Hamburger in real life the car would have never of been sold whole... selling for parts would easily be well over $1500. But for the amount of work it needed, $1500 was fair
5 grand, a 12 second drag car, Front wheel drive mind you. Incredible! Absolutely awesome build gents!
1:40 you can't use Murphys law to defeat Murphys law
Excellent series. Better then any cable TV show. I'm inspired.
Please please keep this car and use it to learn the import drag racing scene! This car isn't far from 10s! Just a little bit of driver mod, cams+valve train and a traction bar you'll be knocking on the door
No where close to 10s lmao people clearly don’t know what it takes to get a 10sec 1/4
@@gapcityracing6086 car is 100hp, a traction bar and a set of 225s from the 10s at the weight its at (depending on gearbox)
This was a great series from both sides . I am a Euro guy but I’ve also owned a Civic . Looking forward to the next go round .
A relatively new S4 with boltons is not a $5000 car, you cannot change my mind
It was broken + it was from a friend
@@jozefm3044 yeah and that totally ruins the spirit of the friendly competition. Fucking yikes
yeah I just sold my stock s4 of the same year for 15k. not a 5000 car but that Honda kept up!
I was thinking the same thing! I wouldn't even be celebrating if I was in that Audi.
yeah it's cheating.
That Honda is such a hilariously good representation of why so many of us got into this scene. What a fun little clapped out rocket.
Should have been wearing the Boosted Boiz T-shirt "Pray for my Axels" LOL
Please make more videos on the ef it's so fun to watch it go
I guess that it almost had the same faith as the Jetta. Something gets blown when it's not the real run
tbf the civic would be alot easier to fix than the jetta
Ugh I really enjoyed this series, watching The Humble Mechanic’s side of it was really cool as well! Well done G&G!!!
Of course i'm JDM team.. what ever the result (i haven't watch the video while writing this comment) 🤣
Edit after finish the video: totally won't change my mind since that ef actually fast too.. wow.. 12.7 sec is dope for that car, and i'm terribly sorry for short ben 🤣
Spoken like a gentleman and a scholar. Way to represent!
They’re all so awkward together I must say. I’m subscribed to all 3 channels btw, so don’t hate.
the S4 wont the race but the Civic won our hearts. This is seriously the best content ever.
Next season: G&G builds a European car and HM builds a Japanese car.
YESSSSSS Im liking that more and more.
@@HumbleMechanic pls make it happen guys.
Following you as a loyal fan of Charles. Great car, I love fast rattle traps!
You got a 12 seconds run, you guys won
Great race and series. 12.7 in that POS is awesome, and it is why I love Hondas!!!
People don’t believe in a God but I do now, seeing that the Honda didn’t blow up off the line
🤯🤯
Genuinely a series I was checking every day for a new episode, loved it, you have an amazing blend of comedy' and interesting car stuff!
nah... JDM won, it won our hearts
Honda #1 For being budget friendly fun experience. Great Vid!
Do domestic brands next!
They need to do a drag truck build off
zzzzzzzz
@@H4Hamburger most of the time yeah
i absolutely love this channel, its got an amazing production value for its size and i love every video they put out
Hold the hell up… I’m going to go ahead and say Asian Ben wasn’t shifting like he should.
Jdm > euro all day
"Previously on The Star Wars" Auralnauts...When I heard the very beginning that is what came to my mind. Even before I watch the rest of this I am going to say this is going to be close but if the B18 can get a good launch it will real the A4 in. My modding experience has been nothing but The 12v VR6 n/a. I am at the point I see the strengths and weakness's in all cars. Yet I can't help but believe the age old power to weight ratio will win out in this.
So after watching this all the way through Good runs to the both of you and it was a good vid. More collaborations if possible. I think adding like that Dude In Blue and Engineering Explained would create a lot of fun variables.
And now Honda goes: "In the bin" :D
Hahah good joke but it's not a VW
you guys had me hooked on this serious, so fun to watch
Any s4 from that generation is at least 15k in my country 😂 and he gets its for 1.5k + the trans for 600... How
The _wheels_ on an S4 cost $1.5k
It's pretty easy to buy broken cars of any year pretty much under $3k just depends on the amount broken especially on these Audis they cost so much to fix at a dealership but doing it yourself is ridiculously cheaper
@@tghidsgn Not these wheels. LOL The PO was drive by feel.
@@FirstNameMattheson Dude, those are 99% totaled / salvage cars. A clean titled S4 that new that's mechanically totaled under 5k is an EXTREMELY rare find.
probably "buddy buddy" price
great race both cars were really good and impressive for the time limit and budget .
