The best place to get your endo myco to add to your grow out pots is from a formally undesturbed grassy area in or near a hedgerow or woodlot. Use a long narrow spade to dig down deep to bring up as much root fragment & attached soil as possible. Work fast & place material in bucket or tub that either has bagged ice in it or a double bucket/ tub with ice in the bottom container. Keep the dug up material out of the heat/sun. Keep shaded & covered. Even moderate heat kills myco spores. Chop up your roots with soil attached to finger sized lengths. Bury that material including loose soil particles more than 3 in. down in your grow-out pots to keep it insulated from heat/sun. Do not sprinkle across the top of the pots. The root hairs of your grow-out pot seeds will reach down & find the spores buried below the surface and innoclulate. Sadly, much commercially purchased mycorriza innoculate is dead when it gets to you due to improper shipping & storage from heat exposure in hot trucks & warehouses. This info came to me via a soil scientist. In her opinion, the liquid bottles of myco innoculant suffer less heat damage due to poor handling during storage & shipping.

I recently bought mycorhizzae made by an indian company from amazon, they had competetive pricing in comparisation to the other suppliers, they had good reviews and they had more sales than the others. I'll make some of my own in a couple of months it will be ready, i'll be making it available at reasonable pricing too for the local community here in our neighbourhood.
