I'm voting for Brexit. I'm not interested in the economic arguments, I want to live in a democracy, not a remote outpost of a Roman-style empire.

Carwyn Jones should learn how to debate properly. In particular, he should refrain from personal attacks which he frequently engages in throughout this debate. Continually interrupting and talking over you're opponent is not only immoral, it's profoundly ill-mannered.
Carwyn Jones in frequently asking Nigel Farage for specifics on what will happen if we leave the EU. In case Carwyn is not aware, no human being retains the ability to KNOW what lies in this 'thing' called the 'future'.
Nigel always points to the example nearest to hand to support his arguments. Just look at every other country around the world which is not a member of the EU. They are all self-governing, independent countries managing their own affairs and most seem to be doing a bloody good job of it.
As Nigel correctly points out, if we leave the EU there is always the possibility that we totally screw things up or make a great job of it. The point is - the working man has the power through the ballot box to fire and hire who he so chooses. If we elect somebody and they end up doing a piss poor job, come the next election we can get rid of them and get somebody else in their place. This fundamental principle goes out the window as long as we remain in the EU.
I have noticed throughout this debate that Carwyn Jones has no answer on the democratic element on the European Union. He frequently shifts gear onto a different subject, namely how better off Wales is because of European funding. Put simply, what Carwyn is really saying is forget about democracy because we are all better off financially working together as a team.
Needless to say, this individual does not represent me in anyway, shape or form. In fact, any individual that can reason along these lines in my book, is quite frankly - despicable.

Nigel - What a terrific debator, and is slowly but surely achieving the recognition he so much deserves. He shows up all of whom that have disputed against him up to present, with his deeply researched issues and this is what makes this man so credible for these debates; he has thought in much greater depth about all these issues than his oppositions and he is raising awareness of the route of these problems. He has seen it for himself, in Brussels and he knows that if he doesn't act, no one else will.

I wish we could have a referendum in Ireland. I've been a dead set against the EU for quite some time (ever since they made us vote again here on the Nice treaty (and then the Lisbon treaty) for giving the wrong answer), but euroscepticism is certainly on the rise very quickly here, and from what I see online, elsewhere across Europe too.
The sexual assaults that took place en masse in Cologne (and Hambug, Dusseldorg, Salzburg etc., and in Sweden for some time) have really driven home the point that such centralisation of power makes what could potentially be a small mistake into a massive, continent-wide one.
From a business point of view, the secretive, utterly undemocratic TTIP (which this UA-cam channel did a great job in covering, and was almost alone in doing so) appears to be about opening up the European market to be ravaged by hawkish corporations from the USA, who seem to be the ones driving it through.
I think the general public sees these things as the EU leading all the member states down the wrong path, and while TTIP isn't really being talked about much, the sex attacks are so immediate and threaten social cohesion, which could be a driving force.
Also, I think the EU is very dangerous as it recently recommended a so-called "World Parliament"! [See the bottom of page 6 of a document called 'Draft Report on the role of the EU within the UN - how to better achieve EU foreign policy goals' from the EU's website. It's easily found by a quick Google search.] I found this vindication of so many conspiracy theorists' rantings to really be quite astonishing.

Regarding the video, I must point out how absurd it is for Mr. Jones to suggest claim that the EU's presence "brought peace to Northern Ireland"! That's a laughable assertion.

If the UK does leave I'm confident that it will cause a shockwave which will fuel the fires that may just get you that referendum. I'm really hoping that we leave and it is the icebreaker for everyone else.

haha yeah that sentiment is being expressed over here more and more, though it's more dismaying than funny... Ireland hardly fared well under British rule, but they didn't fight for the country to be sold on a few short years later! But yeah, I hope we do follow you out, but our political class is so far up the EU leadership's ass that I'm not sure if they can get out. I mean, we've been made redo votes for the Lisbon and Nice treaties as we gave the wrong answer, so something tells me Ireland will be one of the last to leave as the EU burns. Hopefully the UK leaving will bring the whole institution down.

So how is the EU helping you and Wales out today Mr Carwyn Jones?
Tata Steel - which directly employs 15,000 workers and supports thousands of others - is abandoning its UK operations in Port Talbot, Trostre, Shotton, Llanwern and Newport in Wales.
And guess what? EU rules don't allow rescue or restructuring aid such as emergency loans or government guarantees on loans to steel manufacturers in financial difficulties.
Still in love with the EU?

Carwyn boyo. So the EU guarantees jobs does it?
Being in the EU didn't stop GE in Wales laying off 100 or more workers did it?
Being in the EU didn't stop Ford shutting Southampton and Dagenham putting tens of thousands out of work and when they moved production to Bloody Turkey (outside the EU) did it?
Being in the EU didn't stop Peugeot shutting Ryton putting thousands out of work when they moved production to Slovenia (outside the EU) did it?
So how is that Port Talbot thing going Carwyn?
      And on and on ....
And Airbus NEVER said they would leave the UK. The UK president Paul Kahn said quite the opposite and I quote:
      "We are going nowhere"
What he DID say was future investment will be determined by the factors at the time and it may go to the USA or China, neither of which is in the EU. So with the UK outside of the EU we will be on level pegs with those two. It should be noted that Airbus has not built more Final Assembly Lines (FAL) after Toulouse and Hamburg years ago. It has however built an A320 FAL in China, an A320 FAL in the USA and is building another FAL for the A330neo in China. Outside the EU we could put a very persuasive case to build an FAL here in the UK.

Sorry Carwyn: Project Fear is no way to run a campaign and to tell bare faced lies as you did will cause a backlash against you.

Is it hell as like Tory Dogma... Wake up mate ... Its the bloody EU rules. OK so Germany and France break the rules and we don't and yet more reasons to get the hell out. Its academic anyway because we are getting out of the shit pit called the EU. THEN we can subsidise who we like.
Interesting though that since the Government got engaged with Tata Steel they have withdrawn the company closure and sale....

I left England 24 years ago, so missed all of this. Now retired I’m catching up. Despite being British from European parentage, I cannot see any sense from the Remain argument. Maybe the debater is bad, and Farage is just better. Looking at this, I’d vote leave.
