Guys this might be a spoiler but I think he's gonna say that the game's good
This is the game I've always wanted to play because of the visuals, story, places, characters, and soundtrack. I discovered the original GameCube game for the first time by watching each playthroughs on UA-cam in 2008. I wanted to buy the GC game and played it but it already sold out in local game stores at that time, and still didn't came in recent years.
When the remake of this game was finally revealed for the first time on Nintendo Direct in Sep 2023, I was full of excitement! I've been waiting for the remake to come out after so many years and I can't stop thinking about it! I bought this remake on the release day and played it for the very first time with my own eyes. I wasn't expecting how expressive the remake was such as the characters' expressions and other changes such as the Black Skull (Cortez's) and X-Naut ship (Lord Crump's) battle animation.
TTYD is my personal favourite Switch game of all time! This is the game I've played most of the time on Switch because it was so fun and I love making Mario interacting with fans in the Glitz Pit after becoming a champion and talk to each character in Excess Express (either in Chapter 6 or post-chapter). That's why I love TTYD so much!
This game is truly a Paper Mario masterpiece, and always will be. It was such an awesome experience I've ever had in my entire life!
Ever since Yoshito Sekigawa took lead over the composition with TOK, Paper Mario's music appears to be in good hands.
What do you mean “ever since Origami King”…
Yoshito Sekigawa was the original main TTYD composer! He went under a different name, Yoshito Hirano.
Yes, the TTYD remake’s soundtrack was primarily redone by the original composer!
Hey Reecee just want to let you I'll be getting the game Soon can't wait to tell you my full thoughts on it
and yes it will be my first time playing it
Because of the Switch remake, I hope that original GameCube version won't be forgotten about.
If nothing else, I predict that the original will still be the primary version used for anything related to glitches, especially speedrunning, but also challenge runs like prologue pit.
I mean, it provided a solid base for this remake… but I certainly won’t be playing the original ever again.
The remake fixes many things for me such as making the backtracking less of a pain. This plus the updated presentation mean I won’t ever touch the original again.
It's my favorite game of all time too. My favorite Switch game. My favorite Mario game. And what an incredible review, enjoyed it very much. Now back to TTYD.
I second this! :)
It was such a treat playing the remake! Glad it now exists.
This game is the thing to solve world hunger
I'm so glad im not the only one who has TTYD as their favorite game of all time and is incredibly happy with the remake, i will from now on replay the remake as the original feels incomplete to me now, I seen some people who are bothered by the 30FPS or the dialogue changes, I never minded the 30 FPS as I hardly notice it, and the text changes aren't even that bad, the game still has its edge, I'll admit, this has been the best 60 dollars I spent ever, as I have no complaints with this game and the remake, and I will always defend it ^^
Even tho ttyd is still the better paper mario game then origami king.Vento aureo is alot better then ttyd
Strange of you to reference that. Oh well, you can like that more.
