I agree with you. We don't know how the characters are chosen for the beta build and maybe Clark is actually unfinished. However, just in case that's all he's able to do. I think this video could be used as a example of how the character could be developed through patches and updates. Also, it gives the community and the players a clear goal for what is expected of the character.
I use him, just because of "brand love". But I'm going to do a video about the issues with the character... and there are many. It's just too bad that they nerfed him so much.
