- Guitar Cover of the Machine Head track "Old" from the 1994 debut album "Burn My Eyes". Probably in my top 3 favourite albums and was the heaviest thing i had ever heard when it was released. Been hooked on MH ever since.

Found myself to be the proud owner of an Ibanez Axstar back around '98. This album was what I worked on learning the day I got that hideously beautiful 1986 piece of shreddtastic machinery home. 🤘🏻💚✌🏻

Awesome cover man, rewatched it a crazy number of times. I also started using my pinky for power chords because of this video and I can slide between them so much quicker now, thanks! Still got work to do before I can play this song the whole way through but we’re getting there :)

In 1994 as a 16 year old I was queuing outside a record store in Wolverhampton to meet Machine Head. They were supporting slayer. We had to wait 4 hours!😆

Awesome cover!!!! Are you playing it in B standard? I always thought that album was in drop B. If I jam along to Davidian I play in drop B about 25 cents sharp to match the recording
Thank you mate. So it’s actually D standard but they tune to 430hz rather than the normal 440hz, so for the drop tune stuff works out about the same as what you do.

Great job ! I have to revisit Machine Head. If I remember correctly they are tuned between D Standard and C# Standard ? What frequency do you use ?

Great job!! What is the tuning? I mean I tuned my guitar to D A D G B E but It sounds slightly out of tune compared to the original song(as well as your cover)
Thanks mate. Yeah, their tuning is a bit bizarre. They way I do it is tune to drop C but up 41 cents. I can’t remember what that is in hz but have a google and you’ll find it!
