At my current count, I see 2-Batteries, 1-New Hose, 3+Cleaning Tools, and 1-Single Action Airbrush. (Looks like i can use any A.B. with the correct 1/4"[?] threads. COOL FIND, Thx for finally knocking me off the fence on one of these!
About a week ago I went to my local Ace Hardware store and bought a 1/4" NPT industrial coupler & plug quick disconnect set;for my new airbrush aircompressor it has simplified connecting & disconnecting my 10' Badger airhose,to & from my compressor. I no longer have to worry about potentially stripping or crossthreading;the 1/4" end of my airhose screwing it on and unscrewing it off,and I also bought a roll of teflon thread seal tape to ensure that there were no air leaks.
Love the video! You doing things cold-cut like this without tons of editing is part of my adoration for this channel. It's just like stepping into your cool next-door neighbor's place for a few and having a chat about mutual hobbies. I love that vibe, keep up the great work!
Thank you Heather, all the fancy edits always bothered me because I couldn't tell if things where doctored. In particular the hobby companies promo videos
Hi Barbatos Rex I am a new person to the gunpla Hobby and wanted to start doing custom paint jobs but was always scared but your videos make it so much easier to understand that I think I’m ready to start doing it so thank you for your amazing videos!😊
I had the same issue with a stuck needle in an used airbrush. Reason was, a Silicone gasket in the middle was squished to tight and gripped to hard onto the needle. Maybe the Airbrush was tighten too much during assembly. Take it completely apart and reassemble not to tightly
I have a portable airbrush that is very similar to the ones that you have here. I also have an airbrush compressor with an air tank. The portable airbrush is great for what it is. Although you can’t adjust the PSI, it does put out a steady stream of air that will easily tackle priming and most airbrushing tasks. I do need to get some acrylic paint pens. Metallic pens are really nice. I’ve slowly been accruing hobby supplies to launch my own channel. It will focus mainly on the tabletop hobby and not so much models but a lot of the hobby gear is universal.
We DO need a replacement for the classic Pledge. Please post your findings SOON! There are many products that promise results these days. I have found the following products that promise clear gloss, even wet look, but have not tested any of them. Ecolab, Zep, Bona, Weiman, Quick-Shine, Glaze-N-Seal, and Maintex. One of these might be the answer to our needs.
Great video Rob, but my opinion on these airbrushes' that's always running I don't like them they waste to much battery life, and the bottom button is for switching the psi just my opinion bud,,now I do like the second airbrush with the dual battery 😜
Rex, have you tried installing a PAC valve to the airbrush to see if you can reduce the pressure down from 30psi? I bought it and like it so far, but as you know Alclad likes lower pressures.. Just curious.. I have shot lacquers and acrylics through her and for convenience, she can’t be beat! Thanks for the time in answering, as well as the review on her!
I’d love to see you test out some badgers ModelFlex or FreakFlex paints. I’m not sure what to thin them out with because the website doesn’t really say and Badger doesn’t make their own thinner so someone as experienced as you is the best bet for that kinda information
I have a bunch of Badger Paint here. I'll be testing out a universal acrylic thinner soon so I will use the Badger as one of the paints I test it out with
Enjoyed the review, as always. on that quick note at the end, I tried the Quick Shine (Holloway House) on a 30 +old rattle can paint job on 68 mustang... with and acid brush seemed to come out OK not sure if it's the same formula as pledge or not. Not sure if you want to try airbrushing that one or not, seems to thin enough, I'm not proficient with an air brush enough to, to get good results... Big C 😎
An updates on my airbrush compressor. I couldn't figure out why the air brush hose doesn't fit the output of the compressor. The compressor's threads are 1/8" are NPT. The threads on the hose are 1/8" metric. This is why I got so frustrated. I ordered an adapter for this problem. I'm working on the spray booth now adding LED lighting to it.
Interesting products, I see the fellow from The Scale Modering Channel uses Street Blisters a lot. Unfortunately I can only use pure acrylics due to health issues, but enjoy your reviews anyway,,,
Are the fittings on the battery compressors compatible with the regular air hoses we all already have? I really like the idea of the micro compressors with a hose.
I'm not the biggest fan of acrylics but I know of the process. I will test it out. I will be testing out an acrylic thinner and flow improver very soon here however so look out for that
Hi! I'm curious, some videos ago you said in passing that at last you found an acrylic paint brand that you were impressed with and that maybe a video/ review would be made in the future. Any plans for this at all or at least can we have the name of the brand? Thanks.
Here's the 41% off Code for the airbrush 41HLPCWY
Thanks much! Just a heads up, this code only works for the 2 battery version.

I like the one one left because the compressor turns on only when you press to shoot

I ALWAYS wondered how these portable A/B are, thanks for posting!!
Check out the top comment for 40% off that airbrush
I definitely like the paint.

I might just try The Streetblisters Paints. Thanks for another great review video.

I love these type of videos or yours.

Great stuff. I'm almost convinced that I need a rechargeable compressor.

Nice video big bro.Always learning with you
And my custom die cast cars are about to get a huge upgraded due to street blister
Another great video. i have learned a lot from tis channel. thanks for sharing

LED lights in the booth are a must
I'm learning that modeling can make you a millionaire if you start as a billionaire.
if youve already got an airbrush then brush up (haha) on your linework and just start sellin shirts i guess 😂
Cool stuff as always
Love these reviews as always

Another great video❤
Quick Question : What Temperature are you Using in the Dehydrator and for how long ? TIA.
its the same airbrush as the harber freight combo pack...its great
Are the fittings on the battery compressors compatible with the regular air hoses we all already have? I really like the idea of the micro compressors with a hose.
The one I tested with the hose was made for one. The trigger one isn't made for one. The ones with the hose work great.
You could open a shcool with all the airbrush you recieve
That's weird, I'm pretty sure my Gaahleri came with a 0.5 nozzle and needle setup included.
My trigger style came with a 3 and a 5 including nozzle.
There is no link for the Gaahleri 0.5mm Needle & Nozzle Upgrade.
Rex, what are your thoughts on using floetrol with acrylic paints?
I'm not the biggest fan of acrylics but I know of the process. I will test it out. I will be testing out an acrylic thinner and flow improver very soon here however so look out for that
Seems like you are using the double action brushes like a single action. Shouldn't the trigger be pushed down constantly for air to prevent spitting?
Yeah, difficult to focus on the content hearing that trigger clicking.
Hi! I'm curious, some videos ago you said in passing that at last you found an acrylic paint brand that you were impressed with and that maybe a video/ review would be made in the future. Any plans for this at all or at least can we have the name of the brand? Thanks.
I ordered more paints in that line up and they've arrived. I will have that video up soon
@@barbatosrex9473 great, looking forward to seeing it!
Awesome content!!
Love it. Wont buy anything you don't test. Did I miss the giveaway? Those compact compressors are pretty nifty!
Buying my first airbrush setup. What airbrush would you guys recommend for a beginner?
What's your budget?
That awesome $40 one you tested a week or so ago. I love their 1st series that came out and it is a steal at that price.
@@barbatosrex9473 About 100. I can afford to go over a little bit. I will be using it for Gunpla and car models.
what was the primer you used
The .5 needle and nozzle upgrade link is missing
amzn.to/3mT3k4H
Can you SAFELY topcoat those Markers with the Mr Color Clearcoat you used on the car?
wow battery power mega air brush 😂
a man could go broke with all the extras they make for airbrushing.
Many of those portable airbrushes seem to be the same generic Chinese made stuff with different company names on them
They are, they are also crap!
@@BigAndTall666 💯
Day-Number X waiting for Gaahleri to become available in Europe 😢
Why must you show me so many airbrushes that I "need" to buy. I'm going to have to get a better job! Thank you for the info.
lol, epic fail. Yikes.
I'm 1st 😊
The intro is way too LOUD! Speak louder?
