I actually got one that was assembled and adjusted correctly. I did swap the seat. Probably will order a seat post, but not in a hurry. After adjusting it to fit me, I’ve really been enjoying riding it.
So hard to find these in their bigger sizes, and even more difficult to find any info from people that have ridden the smaller one to see if it makes much of a difference
I own one, so I can give input on it. Yes, you can change the tires out to road tires. The gearing is lighter than a road bike, so you will be slower, but it is still kinda fast. I am ok with the hearing for now, but I do wish the freewheel had one more smaller gear for a little bit more speed.
@@Hardtail-Shredder-Trilordy He asked, I just told him he could do it. Personally, I like the 40 mm plus tires for these terrible roads around me. I also believe that a gravel bike left as a gravel bike is much better for these poor roads and sidewalks than a road bike. I finally quit riding my road bike and my track bike because those skinny little tires pumped up rock hard are terrible on my body.
I am 5'10" and the medium feels a little small to me. You have to try it yourself. My brothers are 6'2" but have the same size feet. Point I am making is that the guideline for height is flawed
Reach wise I think you would be good, you could always replace the stem if you needed a little more. I’m thinking it’s going to be close depending on how long your inseams is. I’m 5”11 and I had to bring the seat up a good bit to fit, but I think it would definitely be worth trying.
Got mine over the weekend. Needs some adjusting but it’s gonna be a tinker bike/project.

This is absolutely worth it. You can always slowly upgrade. I always upgrade my components. Building wheelset was the hardest because fine tuning.

I’m riding the medium and I’m 5’10”.
Could i put road tires on this bike and use it as quick road bike? Im thinking of buying it and using it for fitness primarily.

Yes you can definitely do that like @waktosha7378 was saying. I would however recommend that you use a wider tire like a 30c due to the rim width.

The medium will probably work.

I read freewheel are easily damage, do you think that is true?
That's not %100 true, it just depends on the quality. The problem with freewheels is they can be really hard to replace.
Which seat post did you go with
A Giant brand carbon fiber one.
Would the medium be too small for someone around 6”1?

I’m 6’1’’ and bought the bike last week. Medium works great for me.
@@Hardtail-Shredder-Trilordyyou bought a medium?
@@bassibernie yeah I have a medium.
If you change stem and seat post. It might work.
frame set is not a light weight quality one
You’re definitely right but at least it’s solid, I got a feeling it will take a beating.
it's $248, i wouldn't want it to be light weight. at least at this price and this weight i know it is substantial
