Compared with Omega and Rolex the Blancpain has much more standing and elegance. It is a stunning piece, be proud of it. This one is for sure the next on my list.
I think it looks OK, 6.5" is the absolute minimum. The gentleman is using a wide angle lens, makes it look bigger. Wear it and enjoy it, and thank you for sharing this informative review.
Definitely a superwatch for real diving only - bigsize and very legible. This is how a watch must be for real diving. But it is too big for any other usage, even weekend casual.
Congratulations! This must have meant a lot to you for you to sell three great pieces from your collection. It looks bigger on your wrist than I expected. My wrist is an average 7”. I’d always considered this to be my grail watch too, however I think I’d really need to try it on to decide.
It seem that there is only Titanium or brush finishing version having see through case back, that we can see a beautiful 1315 calibre right. Actually, I really like SS or shiny version, but it is so hard decision to miss such the transparent case back.
yes you are right. its only the titanium that shows the 1315 movement. if you ask me, you should go for the stainless steel version. let me explain. 1) its basically a sports watch so the ultimate sports watch does not need caseback to imply robustness. 2) while the movement is great, i dont think the finishing is up to patek / vc/lange standard so who cares 3) because of no caseback, its thinner. trust me, i tried both and i much prefer this ss with 15.5mm thickness vs 17mm titanium version. 4) SS is heavier, i like it. its more solid, it feels more solid 5) they dont release this SS version anymore and it is the first one they released. nowadays, BP only release titanium variations and not even single one of them is SS, so it might get discontinued soon. i hope whatever i said here can help you to decide. go SS, you wont regret it.
@@kittenfan thank you for deeper information regarding the thickness of each version, as I have never realised it before. Anyway I like your comment of that its being sport watch dosen't need the show case and the calibre 1315 finishing is not as good as so highend timepiece like PP yet. Thank you again.
@@kotch31pui you are welcome. i am glad i can help. i know it can be painful when it comes to decide which version to go for. just go SS, you wont regret it. its cheaper anyway last time i checked. as long as you got the wrist to accommodate 45mm size, you will like this piece very much.
Omega Marine is the first dive watch. That said, a big fan of the Fifty Fathom. If I were you I would have went with the Bathyscaphe which would fit you better.
Dudes watch is worth more than his apartment!

Beautiful watch. Dark with history. Very good choice
it is but the size is not for everyone. i along with everyone is still waiting regular edition of 40mm fifty fathoms
@@kittenfan agreed I tried model with grand date in titanium. Beautiful 😍 but 45 mm is very big.
Fab watch thank you for sharing
Nice find dude, looks great!!
To be honest it is perceivably too big for your wrist

@@abouzeidh Heartbreaking because I have a 6" wrist and would have 100% got one in the future
@@Yos115 just get a classic 39 or 40
Too little arm, the watch seems enormous.

Right watch, wrong house. Also it looks huge 😢😂

I have 7 inch wrist and it looks OK despite 45mm size, actually wears smaller than my AP ROO, which is 42mm.
At the moment I look out for the 5015 white version do you know it? ✌🏻
i dont know if that actually exist. there is only blue and black.
Guys sorry a little mishap while opening the watch box. Please dont forget to subscribe if you like it. thank you.
For +20k Blancpain should give a genuine leather pillow or at least something that would last for many many years. Shame.
Awesome watch.
Sorry pal but the watch is too big for your wrist.
It does look ridiculously big
It's for bigger boy's that's why I'm going to get 1!it's the daddy!
Congratulations!
thanks so much : )
I just can’t believe you did the video unboxing with such an ugly background lol! But great watch. Enjoy!
