  • Episode 5: After years of crushing it on the ice, first as a Division I scholarship athlete and then as assistant women’s hockey coach at Bowdoin College, Julianne’s health declined. At the age of 25, she was diagnosed with primary sclerosing cholangitis, a disease that can only be cured by a liver transplant. With the support of her medical team, partner, family and friends, Julianne made it through years of medical treatment and ultimately received a new liver. Since then, she has coached 64 hockey players and inspires them to give their best every day. Her story is a testament to the power of perseverance and determination in the face of adversity.
