That's an amazing gearbox design, if you want to it really shine as a race car you will need to have at least 700kg with center of mass below the center of the wheels.
I built something similar a while ago, before the engine update. Never put it into a car though. One thing I did to compact the sensors was Input shaft - 2x gear -upshift clutch-1x gear ........................................................... 1x clutch gear .................... 2x gear - down clutch - 1x gear Then I drove my rack from one of the 1x gears. The reason the idler gear was a clutch gear is so I could use it as the brake that prevents unwanted movement of the rack
I made a 6 speed sequential a few days ago that also employs a linear travel selector. I think in principle this could intergrate into it although it would be pretty darn bulky in comparison.
@@AlMagmaGamingFunny enough it doesn't actually require deviating from your original mode of operation, it would just be applied across a longer rack. It's one long travel for 1 thru 6 selection
My guy the only thing that's unpredictable in this car is rear wheel steering. I'm sure that's what causes spinouts, it's not stiff enough, get a doublewishbone on the back like you've got on the front, secure it to the frame and not differential, and I'm sure it'll drive like a charm
From what my testing has shown, alot of the problems come from the diffs. They were essentially oscillating power between the two back wheels, causing the vibration and many other issues. After a bit of tuning to the diffs, it's alot more stable.
This absoultely wild I didn't event know an at was possible in this game
my automatic transmission has 6 gears and is more compact than this. its very possible to make automatic transmissions in this game!
Amazing build, great work!

This is super sick dude, I know what I'm gonna mess with for the next week lol

rear suspencion does the vibtation
9:02 it was at this moment i knew we were at laguna seca!
Nevermind. Just the corkscrew

The clutch system would add a bit of bulk, but it would need to be any bigger to accommodate the extra gears...

Yes.
the "speed wobble" can be countered by adding some extra supports in the rear cos it looks like its flexing too much
Absolute powerhouse of a car, but boi does it need alot of downforce...
so next is the cvt gearbox ?
I have some ideas for one....
It has been done...

Other than that it makes me happy to see that you also developed an auto governor for gearbox, good and simple

Cvt transmission if possible
I want to try one, but I'm not sure how to achieve it effectively...
@@AlMagmaGamingI'd love for a cvt to be added
Like a cvt belt drive
maybe try a 5 speed transmission?
Next time I want to do a 4 or 5 speed
I would think that a reverse could be achieved using a keybind and clutch gears, no?
Yea.
I just never got to it.
