Peach is the only top tier that im ok with because she is the hardest character in the game to master, she breaks so many rules in this game, but you have to be on point to make use of that.
@@CristeveDude your career playing Peach is gonna be a legal adult in 2 months, of course you think it's easy. I've been playing her for 3 months and combos like this are still a distant dream.
I finally decided to main peach in ultimate. I watched you videos back in smash 4 and thought you were a amazing. I'm so glad that you stuck around in my subscriber box, now I can actually apply what you're teaching since I'm serious about playing peach now.
I feel awful because I love playing Daisy and Peach But no matter how much I practice, I can’t do the ridiculous combos and turnip shenanigans. I can lab for hours, do it once, then never be able to do it again.
Hey man, as a peach main your tips are amazing! Can i ask you what will cover your next video? Im actually interested on a tutorial of her movements, since the new buffs, and how to deal with her bad matchups. Thanks for the answer!
Almost all of her Smash 4 specific movement tech is still possible, so I don't think I will cover it again. I will most likely be doing combo videos and combo tutorials, as they are my favourite to do. =)
Amazing and informative as always! I still use the quick turnip pull method from Smash 4, what would you recommend to pull turnips faster? Since Smash 4’s technique isn’t that good now.
If you are comfortable with the z-drop turnip pull method, it is still good, because more inputs means you are less likely to discard a rare turnip. However, it is easy to accidentally buffer something during the inputs now, such as a spotdodge if you try to fastfall. So I think simply down-tossing the turnips to cycle is best now.
What a great time to play Daisy/Peach, Love it :D I kinda wished you also had the input overlay of the gamecube controller as Zero does for example, how does he do that? gamecube controller capture card?
AMAZING VIDEO! How can I JCFF -> aerials consistently? What the inputs? Using the shoulder buttons to jump makes it more easier? I'm already using tilt stick. Please keep making this videos
I have the same question! Sometimes when I JCFF i feel like I'm not doing it properly and then my aerials get messed up. it might be because I'm using the switch controllers still and not a pro controller/gamecube controller. Or it might just be because I don't truly understand the correct timings for JCFF.
I use Left Trigger to jump, but it comes down to personal preference. It took a few months for me to be able to do it consistently with aerials. You can no longer C-stick N-air, so I would advise learning JCFF aerials without C-stick. The inputs are Jump (hold) > Control stick down > immediately release Jump. =)
Managed to figure it out. Jump + Z buffers a short hop turnip throw > catch with Z while still in the air > down throw > recatch turnip with down tilt. My only problem with this combo is that my combo counter doesn't register the last forward air as a true combo
Sorry for the slow reply, glad you figured it out =) The last float F-air must be very quick. You can just do one turnip toss into F-air instead, and in most cases it will still kill.
In my opinion, the best way is to play nothing but Peach, if you are serious about picking her up! Her float is completely unique and should be applied to every aspect of her gameplay, making her the most difficult character to pick up. Mastering it just comes with playing her A LOT!
You have to add a slight delay before re-catching the turnip. So if you do it from a short hop, you must throw the turnip ASAP in order to delay, catch and throw before landing. You also can't buffer Jump+throw anymore, adding to the difficulty!
Awesome video but pretty sure knitting (ground float z-drop fast fall) is still the fastest way possible to cycle turnips. I tested it with the frame by frame tool and I admit it's almost impossible to do perfect but knitting is actually 11 frames faster (45 frames vs 56 to have a new throwable turnip).
I think it's just due to the buffer giving you a spot-dodge if you try to fast-fall after recatching with Z, then hold down to pull a turnip asap (maybe I was trying to time it too similarly to Smash 4 timing though). I wonder if you are able to instantly recatch turnips in the frame by frame tool as well. Right now, you seem to have to delay the recatch after your turnip toss. If so, it would maybe confirm that the frame by frame tool is not reliable in these circumstances. Either way, I'm hoping the upcoming patch changes some things about the buffer system, and allows us to get that extra turnip between stocks again =)
@@BenevolentWinds So it probably requires a 1 or 2 frame press only? But eh the frame by frame tool makes unrealistic situations possible either way and I always go for the turnip down throw too. Also do you mean instantly recatching your thrown/dropped turnip? Or after hitting people with it? I could only do z-dropped but I'd also airdodge. Idk about the rest
finally the wait is over but I have a question peach been my main since smash 4 came out and I learned all there is to know about her I have 2 question about ultimate is Nair out of shield is her best option and do you think turnip dthrow into fair is a great ledge option ?
Yeah I think N-air and B-air are her best OOS options, and it's important now more than ever to perfect your OOS float aerials. Turnip D-throw > F-air is a great punish at the ledge if you can react to their option!
@@BenevolentWinds so, at 0:20 it´s turnip toss, Z recatch, turnip toss downward, down tilt recatch, jump turnip toss forward, z recatch, turnip toss forward again and floating fair, right?
The same input timing as Smash 4 works, but you jump a lot higher before descending because of the jump squat and acceleration buffs. I personally don't think it is as important a technique this time around, so you can do without it imo!
Just use whatever you feel most comfortable with. I personally find L-trigger for Jumping and Y for shielding to be most convenient. Tilts with C-stick is the only setting I think everyone should use.
And here I thought only the little Links got the bomb treatment. Now I'm even more scared of RNGesus asplodin' on me! D: Also, have you messed around with Zelda at all this game, or are you now 100% a Peach/Daisy main?
@@BenevolentWinds Really? What don't you like about this one? I personally think this is her best version yet, although she's not without faulty kinks like Nair not working right half the time.
I think it's her best version too, but still not as fun as Brawl for me haha. I miss the Jab, F-tilt > U-smash combo, U-tilt kill, D-tilt locks, N-air drag, Nayru's always sending them in front of you, Love Jumping, etc. I might give her another chance though if Piranha Plant is disappointing. I'm sure she has some new fun stuff in this game.
@@BenevolentWinds I definitely feel like they should've kept that property of Nayru's Love. Many times I find myself wanting to ledge drop > jump > reverse Nayru's. She lost her Dtilt jank but it got replaced with crazy Farore's and Phantom shenanigans. Now she doesn't completely suck in neutral anymore! XD
im not a peach main nor will i ever be
but ill always enjoy watching your videos, they're all so well done!

Thank you for this video, super informative as someone who's currently trying to play Daisy ❤👌

You can catch with A while grounded or Z while aerial, without holding a direction on the control stick, to catch without attacking! =)

Simply a turnip recatch (Z) and turnip toss (c-stick forward)

Simply ground float (hold down and jump), input your aerial, release down and jump. Start slowly, then try increasing your speed.
