It depend i also had a parrot i adopt it from small age she was very close to me i also let her fly in my house but still have to put them in cage for time like in night or when fans are on etc Like total balance and she was a happy birdy but one day she flew away and never came close to house probably. Beacause she didn’t know how our house looks like

Well . I have 4 parrots. I released them and infront of my eyes one of my parrot was killed by a cat . Everyone needs freedom thats right. But suppose you are having breakfast with your family and from nowhere you father kicked out from your house . What will be your reaction. The same reaction goes with your pet birds . After the incident i made a aviary for rest of my parrot . So think before you realease them . You need a big cage with many toys and perches . You have done right thing giving them their freedom but sometimes it goes not what you expected . My parrots are handtame mostvof the time they live outside the cage . They fly inside my room and house . Hope you will not hate this comment. Think before releasing them .
