Our visit of the tunnels was for sure the highlight of our trip! Can’t imagine living in those tunnels for months/years, not seeing daylight.

I imagine the contents of all the bottles in the tunnel helped out in that regard

This video was so much fun to watch. Always wondered what the dugouts and mines looked like. Seems like Blackkader got it right but just on the wrong side!

Thanks for showing this, it's crazy some of the stuff down there. To think they made that by hand boggles the mind.

I never really comment when I watch UA-cam videos. But I just had to say what a phenomenal video this was. I watched it recently over at my friends house and came home and immediately watched it again. (without my friends chattering in my ear) Super entertaining and I love your presentation style. Keep it up my friend 👍

Thank you so much! It was tough to film in the mines while simultaneously trying not to hit my head or fall, so I was worried about how it all came out.

Be the change you wanna see, if you are interested in WW1 and the battlefields in Serbia try to organize visits, talk about it to the mayors of towns affected by the conflict, create an association to renovate and excavate whats left of the battlefield and make they visitable ! If no one ever dared to ask for the reopening of Vauquois it would still be just a hill with nothing to visit
