Need step-by-step instructions on how to make animated GIFs for your live streams? Here they are. streamyard.com/blog/live-stream-branding/how-to-make-animated-gifs/
It's historical. From Wikipedia: The creators of the format (led by American computer scientist Steve Wilhite) pronounced the word as "jif" with a soft "G" /dʒɪf/ as in "gym". Wilhite says that the intended pronunciation deliberately echoes the American peanut butter brand Jif, and CompuServe employees would often say "Choosy developers choose GIF", spoofing this brand's television commercials.
Great question. Have you seen this video resource on how to create overlays? ua-cam.com/video/mL7Uq3gvywA/v-deo.html Let me know if this is what you're looking for. 🦆 Christian Karasiewicz
I propose StreamYard must have these functions, remove/transparent background, we don't want use the third web to remove background. Why you don't improve this one?
Hi there! StreamYard now supports virtual backgrounds, no green screen needed! -- support.streamyard.com/hc/en-us/articles/4411078786836-How-to-Use-Virtual-Backgrounds- 😊 -Sam 🦆
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching. Do you have any other questions about creating animated GIFs for your live streams? What type of GIF do you think you'll create first? 🦆 Christian Karasiewicz
We do too! What type of animated GIF do you think you'll create first? I'm a fan of an animated subscribe or like button. What about you? Christian Karasiewicz 🦆
we pay for a lot of subs already (streamyard, abode, ect.) and really don't want to pay for unscreen on top of it. is there anyway to get instructions on how to do it with premiere pro???
Hey! So, we're not sure if Premiere offers you this capability. It may be a good idea to contact Adobe and see if you can create gifs or not! - Katie 🦆
This was very helpful thank you! Is there a way to make it so these gifs don't play on a loop in Streamyard? The original file doesn't loop and I'd love to be able to preserve that
Right now, GIFs don't loop. Feel free to go here and send it to our Development Team as a feature request here: streamyard.com/contact Christian Karasiewicz 🦆
This is very complicated, Streamyard must add function resize of overlay video and overlay video can be moved anywhere on the live stream screen. Current function of Streamyard is very poor.

Great question. Yes. You can enable a banner and also turn on an overlay under the Brand tab.
