All the snaps sis. All of them. Your transparency and honesty is so needed in this season. It's different coming from someone who has been to the top of this so called "mountain" and is brave enough to expose what the TRUE COST is. The decay is real. I literally was observing my niece as I took her to school and picked her up today; obsessed with her TikTok content/ followers, etc. And I mean every little moment of every single day, she's either viewing someone else's life or filming even the most mundane details of her own. And my heart broke. This world, and especially these babies growing up with this as their norm, are soooo self-absorbed. And it really is destroying them. These babies are the most mentally ill, suicidal generation of young people probably ever. Several of my nieces friends have been institutionalized more than once. Some of them have taken their own lives. None of us are built to handle that kind of intense self-focus/ voyeurism, honestly. So, wherever this channel goes, as long as you keep this posture before God, He will get the glory. Thanks for being courageous enough to share your testimony ❤

I love that I don't follow trends, I love that I have a close relationship with me and the most high. I want to help others on social media, but I don't be dragged back into the matrix world. It's not about money with me or likes , it is all about peace, love,happiness, patience, humility, receiving my blessings, and being fearless with life. I deleted Instagram and Facebook for about 2 months now and from time to time I catch myself looking through the 1000s of pictures on my camera roll like I found myself doing this morning. So that line strongly resonated! It’s a spirit of self, an idol as you said. May the Lord continue to help us along the narrow way, in the name of Jesus!
I took so many pictures for the gram, that when I deleted IG, I only took photos when my son was doing something fun or new, and only sent it to immediate family who sees him and friends I actually see irl. It's been 7 months [with a 2 week back on, then off again] for me without FB and IG. I haven't posted on UA-cam since, but might start again because oddly that was helping me with some other non-social media habits I am trying to change and random videos edited together to remember.
I definitely needed to hear the first 40 seconds because that’s what I been dealing with. I just want to be my truest authentic self here. Thankful for you in this collective consciousness.

hey girl! since i posted this comment i have not returned to instagram. it's been deactivated since oct 25. there have been some moments where i've wanted to hop back on and just fall back into the world of seeing what everyone else is up to and sometimes having that FOMO feeling but honestly otherwise, it has been the best choice of my life. i no longer feel pressured to post or feel like i need to keep up with posting. the comparison game has dropped a ton. i've also found i've had more personal connections with the people in my life sharing things with me through text/phone instead of finding out through instagram. definitely so many more pros then cons, and i don't even know if the cons are cons. will be continuing to stay off way into the new year. @@KishUnleashed
