Toronto Palestine Peace Rally for World Children's Day

On Sunday, November 19, 2023, hundreds of Palestinian supporters gathered on Toronto's Nathan Phillips Square to recognize the thousands of young lives destroyed by the Israel-Hamas war.
Sunday’s gathering was a commemoration focused on the children killed in both Gaza and Israel held in conjunction with the United Nations annual November 20th World Children’s Day.
Speakers as young as six years old shared their letters, stories, poems and songs of pain, loss and fear, echoing calls for an end to the fighting and hopes for peace in the region.
