Sundance, Great Salt Lake & Bonneville Salt Flats | 2022 Cross Country Day 5

- August 30, 2022 marks the 5th day of our 2022 Cross Country Motorcycle Trip. We leave Vernal, UT and make our way to Wendover, UT covering about 325 miles. Along the way we ride through Sundance and around the Alpine Loop, stop in Sandy to pick up a shifter bolt for my sister's Ducati, stop by Great Salt Lake State Park and have a little fun at the Bonneville Salt Flats.

Cool! I stopped at Harrison Eurosport on my BMW while doing the TAT summer of 21. They changed my front tire and oil and serviced my chain. Great folks. Utah is a neat state. Great riding.

Came back through Salt Lake probably 30 years ago with my Beemer. Was on paved road, but still saw plenty of salt. Ohio to California and back on a 30 day vacation. So much to see-so little time. Thanks to you and sis to fill in with some of what I missed. 👍👍🏍🏍🏍🙋♂️

The road out to the salt flats, are there still odd trinkets and art work pieces on the side of the road?
When we were on Rt 50 the next day we saw a bunch of off trinkets and art work along the road.
Colorado and Utah have to leave a couple of riders from West Virginia wondering why the folks back home talk about the mountains and Mountaineers so much, eh??
Not really...Appalachian Mountains make for better riding overall IMO

Don't worry about not being able to open up your bike on the flats, there is 0% chance you have any carbon buildup in your engine or spider webs in your exhaust!
