If you’re looking for a nice place to stay outside of the city centre of Singapore you should definitely consider Katong. This neighbourhood is conveniently situated near the beach and the old colonial houses and shopfronts area. A nice hotel option is the Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong (member of IHG Rewards).
