I want one for the same reason a friend of mine has a tattoo of a rooster dangling from a noose right below his knee, and that is the middle school impulse to be able to tell people about my LaserPecker.
A few years ago I kept seeing the Glowforge commercials pop up, but there was no way I was going to spend 5K on a hobby machine like that. I then did some research and found the K40 CO2 lasers and bought one for about $400 and have produced a lot of nametags for scouting and such. Lots of fun. These new diode lasers are certainly more portable and capable machines and the next logical progression of laser engraving.
$5k would be a lot! This one is very Portable. The case is about the same as a lunch box. The engraving space is only 3.5x3.5 so a little limited but seems to work very well.
I have LaserPecker 1l Pro and I am trying to burn a saved photo onto wood. When I do, the image comes back way to black , to the point that you cannot make out the faces of anything that is dark, like a dress. How can I fix this?????? Getting frustrated
@@ToolsTechAndGear I have tons of product ideas that capitalize on the risqué nature of the title. There is a real physical brick and mortar business in Wichita, KS called The Cornhole Cave. It sells outdoor games (such as the namesake which we used to call "bean bag toss") and BBQ accessories. It's 2022, the younger generation is cool with it. I'm 43 and moderately amused, but I'm not big on throwing bags of corn at holes.
Yes, it can laser words onto paper as long as the number of words and lines of text fit into the text box within the Laserpecker app. Note that there is a size limit that it can engrave unlike the gantry-type laser engraving machines. You would need to play around with the settings depending on the type of paper used to get it right without causing a fire. This machine is not the latest version; I believe there is a LP4 now which you might want to check out instead. Hope this helps.
I have absolutely no use for this but I want one. Great video Seth
After working with it I started thinking of reasons to have one. But my friend with leather work business will put it to good use.

I knew someone with a tat just like that.

Asamualaikum bro, how can I get this laser machine from Bangladesh?
That's cool nice video
Hi! Have you ever had any issues while recording the laser? I am afraid it might damage my camera, thanks

Clicking 'Show Center Point' might have been helpful on the coaster...
Yes! I actually did click that later on. I use the ruler to get it very close to 2"x2".
A grid on that base would also help with alignment.
@@BrittCHelmsSr You could use the LaserPecker to draw it's own grid 👍👍
Could you engrave white Leather ? Like a bag or a sneaker 👟?
Nice device
It has so many features. I gave this to a friend and he has already started working with it.
can i use it to write on paper?
why u didn't answer???!
I totally thought it was an Austin Powers villain.
Haha the name does sound like that. A bit more risky than I would name a product.
