After doing so test, I find out that doing the flush 1 per week is ok if you don’t print to much, and doing a print head cleaning for nozzle check every time before you start to print a job is recommended. If you print constantly, is probably you will not need to do the flush since nozzles will not clogged.
Is there any solution to resolve clogging ?
Mmm i print every day 30 to 50 pri.ts a day thats a 8 a to 5 non stop printimg for my l1800 and still get my head clogged
Thx for all the explanation videos. They are incredibly helpfull. I just bought a DTF printer Epson L1800 and you help me a lot with your videos. You rock!
Glad I could help!
I already ordered the same printer as yours and i'm a little bit worried because i don't really have knowledge about printers, Thanks to you and your informative videos. :)
I'm glad to help in what I can.
@@KingdomDTF Thanks! how often you clean your Printer?
1 per week or so do a flush, print head cleaning to check the nozzle before start any work.
aha ok after the flushing with the solution , the next day ,i have to do the print head cleaning again so the ink will go down correct? @15:00 . is it safe to do print head cleaning everyday right?
Correct
Every time you use it or the printhead have inks inside the nozzles.
nice video full detailed...what you have put on the top of the syringe??? that plastic pipe i am not getting...
Is a syringe with a tubing to do manual maintenance.
Thank you for all of your tutorials. I am looking for one to show me how to edit art to not have a background (like an svg) that is compatible with Acrorip. Do you have a video on that?
I don't but will try to get some in.
Your videos are great. After u flush the head and flush the lines. Can the printer sit for a week or two without printing?
Yes, but let me explain. You need to flush good and keep head moist in the time you are on vacation, but real longer period without use it can dry the head if is not moist correctly. To be honest I could say before was easier but everything has change during this year.
@@KingdomDTF thank you very much.
Can you help me? My procolored machine blinks, both lights turn red and thunders when scanning.
Can you do one on the xp 15000 dtf printer
I will try, is just I have not found the time.
Hello and thank you for everything ... Do you really like to print with the printer at least once per day? So that the DTF ink does not dry out on the head, especially the white
Yes, like I mention before dtf inks don’t clog easy and at least 1 per week you can clean, that have been my results.
I print 2 or 3 days per week and the rest I prepare the printers and ship supplies, so I’m busy.
@@KingdomDTF thank you very much.. And i whish you a good job
Hi man! Awesome work once again.
I have some experience with sublimation, and what I have is a scheduled task to print a test page every 3 days during winter (my business is mainly during summer). Do you recommend a scheduled print for dtf?
If I'm not wrong when you don't have too much work you flush once per week and then printing 2-3 days/week.
I guess if I'm printing a lot every day (summer season) I should flush after each day. But not sure about winter... Do you recommend printing a test page every 2-3 days plus a weekly flush? of flush 2 per week...
I'm a bit worried about clogged it...
Thanks in advance
Correct, once you flush print head is good. If you print again the n again you will have ink in the print head, so it better leave it clean.
Hello ... after pushing the white ink or all can I keep the printer like that for a week??
If you no planning to pint for a week, make sure the head is clean and do wet capping until you print again.
Hi KINGDOM, what is if print halfway, the white gone? Is there any solution for this?
On the L1800, elevate the tank 3 or 4 inches from surface and make sure the ink is getting airflow.
@@KingdomDTF I have tried elevated the ink tank using a box, but the white ink still stop halfway, is there any specific way to overcome the white breaks in the middle of print?
Why my images won’t came out like that on a black t shirts?
Great thx . I want to know where can i buy printer L1800 EPSON please ? Can you give me a good link pls thx .
If you are in US KingdomDTF.com or dtgpro. Outside US not sure.
Hi. I have an issue. After doing the cleaning, nozzle all okay. Sometimes white ink is fine, some time yellow didn't even come out. I did cleaning again, yellow come out but the white doesn't. I cleaned again.. both fine for 1st print. Subsequent print, the white started fading. Please advise.
Elevate the ink tank 4 inches from surface, that will help with gravity. also make sure you have a good airflow.
Thank goodness for you!! It works like wonder!! For now, i opened the cap. Until when do i have to keep it open? Also the ink tank, until when do i have to keep it elevated? Thank you sooooo much once again!
Hi. I noticed when i put the solution at the capping station, it went down slow and not all when down. I have to wipe it with napkin. Is that the right way?
No. Is possible that you have a clog line there in the capping station or the capping station is getting damage. Is better if you get one and have it as spare in case you need to replace.
Hi. My nozzle check is always messed up hardly any lines at all. I have done my head cleaning a few times and nothing works. Can you help
Try to use an strong cleaning solution and mix with hot distilled water. You need to be patience to push the mix.
do you print every day on your printer?
Not really
Hi :)
I probably buy this printer
one question or advice to me ....every morning you do nozle check and head cleaning , and after you finish the job for that day you go to the flush and print head will be empty ? is that one of the way to save you printer ?
Cleaning after you done printing and I do it most to the white nozzle. In the morning if nozzle check is good I do not do cleaning since is not necessary.
Hi, i notice whenever i print black, it will have a purple shadow after it. What do i do? Thanks in advance!
Clean the printhead underneath and make sure your capping station is getting all the waste ink out.
Hi, I am located in Europe and not able to buy some of your products. Please recommend good head cleaning solution to buy from Amazon or somewhere else.
Yes, you can check amazon for printhead cleaning solution, there is a few there and you can read the reviews.
Thank you for the great video!
I have a question, after the cleaning when can I print? Do I print just after the cleaning or I need to do something before printing?
After cleaning ass always is recommended to do nozzle check before start printing again any job.
@@KingdomDTF thank you so much
Thanks Dear, I already ordered acro rip, and printer, Inspired By You. Need Help.
send me an email
Gracias, no sabia como mover el cabezal...
Que bien que te ayudo.
I tried this, but I can't get the solution get through, could I be doing something wrong ? The printer is just one month old and it is printing almost good.
Is the solution is not going into the nozzle, then that nozzle is clog, you will need an strong solution to break since a regular may not work. Also you can warm the solution a little bit to have a better results.
my white ink is clogged somewhere in thr pipe whenever i do print i found that the fresh white ink is not going in the damper somewhere stuck in the pipe i supposed..thats why i m not getting the white ink printed on the film...?? any leads to solve...
Try to use a syringe to suck out ink from the damper and rotate the ink by putting back into the tank.
@@KingdomDTF where u got the pipe that u have put in top of syringe?
I am trying to understand how the white color appears on the paper
The rip software is the one that printer colors and then the white ink. Regular software will not print white ink.
@@KingdomDTF honestly I am still trying to figure out how the white ink is installed
hi , what happens if i go on vacation for 10 days and i didnt use the printer , i am going to buy one , i am afraid that it would clog and i wont be able to use that printer again
You flush the print head, that mean take out all the inks from the print head so is clean and put cleaning solution in capping station and leave it there.
Hi mate ... Very valuable videos.. whats the ink cost for dtf..
Depends, they start from $25 for 4oz
hi, how long prints a3 format in cmyk?
Doing some test, I will post results when I got them.
Do I need to change the ink it comes with? If so why?
The printer do not comes with ink, we send dtf ink with our bundle so you put ink for the first time and the printer get ready in about 20 min.
is this really works? hope you can show the after cleaning video that would be awesome.
Yes, that's the way I clean my own at least 1 per week. DTF inks are friendly compare to DTG inks.
I am having such a hard time getting my printer to print. I did everything step by step and there’s nothing on the paper. I’m ready to throw in the towel.
I added the ink, I used the syringed to pull the ink through to fill the cartridges inside the printer, I’ve been at it for 2 hours and I am so confused .
What can't you get to print? for what you saying I understanding... the paper? what do you mean by the paper?
did you end up figuring it out jennifer? we might be able to help with a little more info
Cleaning the print head every week the printer will be end of life in no time? Epson printers only allow so many head cleans?
Because you are using dtf pigment inks, the viscosity is heavy and the head can get clog more easy.
Y los subtítulos? Como saber cómo lo haces? No hay ningún tutorial en español
Tratare de ponerlos pero esos los tengo que hacer yo mismo ya que youtube no los hace automatico. Ahora mismo tengo mucho trabajo.
@@KingdomDTF Por fa estoy en colombia y solo hablo español. Gracias Hermano
@@KingdomDTF I can help if it's needed. ;)
I am From India. Just Installed DTF IN Espon L 1800. Been Doing Daily Head Cleaning Still After Doing print doesnot come Good. Everytime i need to Power Flushing. Also i print merely 2 to 3 prints daily... Please Help//////////// Been Sucking Inks from Ejcetions from head nozzle also on daily basis......
Verify the nozzle check, if you are missing it is possible the channels are clog. If nozzle check is good, then see if the dampers need to be clean at the tip, elevate the tank 3 or 4 inches from surface, consider re-install the software since could have an error.
Thats alot of maintenance, think toners are better
Toner can work for some stuff, but crack faster and a lot, DTF is a higher quality.
